I would venture to say Radiohead is not overrated. They are considered one of the most influential bands of all time and still going. Pure art.
FACTS!
And not just musically influential lol. One of my favourite canadian artists never became a well known name but he credits some of the doors that opened in his career to an indy album of his being casually complimented by thom yorke in an interview.

Not underrated. But definitely under appreciated. One of the GOATS.
This is criminally underrated . This song is a Masterpiece from a Masterpiece of an album, “OK Computer.”
I always say this is my generations Bohemian Rhaspody
The song picks up Gregorian chant half way through .. . "nothing new under the sun", just forgotten skills that need to be re-discovered
Using creep to introduce Radiohead to someone is like using puff daddy to introduce someone to hip hop.

Great reaction! I was in the crowd for their legendary 1997 Glastonbury headline performance. It was pouring with rain and they had some technical issues, but we didn't notice/care! Thom singing "Rain down, rain down. Come on, rain down on me. From a great height, from a great height..." was just an unforgettable experience! Happy days!
How does it feel to live my dream
Live they are amazing, I saw them once in the 90’s at Glastonbury festival shortly after this album’s release, so epic! I also saw them on tv a few year back also do Glastonbury after the release of their last album a moon shaped pool, that was also incredible, so much older along with their whole catalog of music being played to the audience, their musical direction shifts were pretty insane, but they can pull it off live
Keep going down that Radiohead rabbit hole, Shon! You will continue to be blown away! May I suggest one of my personal faves, "High and Dry" next!
Hell yeah! I don't know how they are still so underrated...the epitome of songwriting and musical feeling of the modern era (in the 90's...lol...) Karma Police, Street Spirit, Fake Plastic Trees, 2+2=5, so many hits...

In Rainbows legit changed the music perspective at the time. I paid 10 dollars, but if i wanted i could've paid 0 for that entire album and still have access to all the songs! That's a legit album! Radiohead do not mess around!
This dude just found his favorite band. If he can appreciate it Radiohead this much on first listen, he's about to get his mind blown. They have so many out of this world masterpieces and some of their albums are beyond flawless.

Shon, thank you for reacting to this Radiohead song! I LOVE IT! If you haven't seen it, be sure and check out the live version of Paranoid Android from Jools Holland here on YT. It is so amazing to see them do this live. They are impressive musical geniuses!!! It's Thom Yorke on vocals, guitar and writes most of the songs, Jonny Greenwood on lead guitar and keyboards and other instruments who is an actual composer, Colin Greenwood on Bass, Philip Selway on drums and Ed O'Brien on rhythm guitar and other instruments. Be sure and check out all of their albums in order and I especially love In Rainbows Live From the Basement video here on YT. It is so absolutely phenomenal.
Great reaction Shon! The whole album (their 3rd) is a masterpiece and a real coming of age compared to 'Creep' (1st album). They do a fantastic live version on the BBC 'Later with Jools Holland show' and the video is pretty trippy! Cheers.

They basically have their own genre - they are unlike any other band/artist ever - unique is an understatement.. radiohead is my favorite band of all time and you should 100% keep venturing down their path. they have such a special ability to create such different sounding songs each album, while simultaneously keeping that beautiful signature radiohead sound. i love them so much
*ALSO* if you want another song of theirs that gives you that "out of body, outer space" feeling, DEFINITELY check out another track from this record called "Subterranean Homesick Alien" you won't be let down.

We have three generations of Radiohead fans in my family. Recommend Street Spirit, Karma Police, Fake Plastic Trees… these are some of their more famous songs.

This is from their 1997 album. They have 6 studio albums after this one. So please do continue to explore their catalog. 😁 I suggest Weird Fishes for your next one.
