SB19 has been vocal about this from the start. This is their goal, they have been saying this time and time again, that’s why they are working hard to achieve it. And the reason why they also started the PPOP RISE, because they believe that we can do it especially if we do it together, not only our PPOP groups, we also need the support of the government and our own people as well.
Our PPOP Groups are very good and talented. They can compete with the international. I hope the government realizes that the PPOP community can help the economy.
True, dpt nga isa ang gobyerno sa unang sumusiporta sa mga artist natin na local. Para mas malawak ang dadaanan ng mga artist at management ng mga bumubuo ng artisrt sa music industries, kya ng pag supporta nila sa mga athletic o sports ng pinas. Ganun din sana sa mga artista at musikero ng ating bansa.

Panahon na din para magkaroon ng weekly music shows sa Pilipinas. Sobrang laking tulong kasi talaga non to promote not just ppop but the whole OPM industry. Hindi na sapat na guesting lang sa mga shows.

very narrow pov. there is so much, much more in the pop music genre since 70s. sexbomb was novelty, shown in tv/variety shows only, and not seen as pop music, did not go mainstream. where is apo, new minstrels, martin, gary, smokey mountain, etc, etc,, that went mainstream/pop??
i think, it's referring to the idol groups that have influences from k-pop & j-pop
@@joshuji475 hardly any radio airwaves except radio progs w/ commentaries as either background or accompaniment, not bec they are played on their own for listening pleasure or as regular pop music. they're mostly on variety tv shows esp noontime variety show entertainment as novelty act, fun entertainment

Although your effort to educate netizens about PPop is appreciated, I feel that this video is biased and showcased other groups but downplayed SB19 as the group which paved the way for bringing PPop to where it is now. Why did you not specifically mention ""SB19" in 14:10 and just said "sila'" ("They" in English) got a Billboard nomination? I don't think it's a mere error in audio & script. SB19 deserves better recognition in discussing the rise of PPop.
This is what I observed too. Takot banggitin ang pangaln nila? Tbh, mas maraming binigay na karangalan ang esbi pero gamitan ng SILA? Biased din nagreport neto eh. We appreciate all the groups, pero mali atang pagdating sa esbi, SILA ang gagamitin na term. The fuck is wrong with our media.
