- First Right of Reply by the Republic of India, at the general debate of the 78th Session of the General Assembly of the UN (New York, 19-26 September 2023).
The UN General Assembly (UNGA) is the main policy-making organ of the Organization. Comprising all Member States, it provides a unique forum for multilateral discussion of the full spectrum of international issues covered by the Charter of the United Nations. Each of the 193 Member States of the United Nations has an equal vote.
The United Nations is an international organization founded in 1945. Currently made up of 193 Member States, the UN and its work are guided by the purposes and principles contained in its founding Charter.
The UN has evolved over the years to keep pace with a rapidly changing world.
But one thing has stayed the same: it remains the one place on Earth where all the world’s nations can gather together, discuss common problems, and find shared solutions that benefit all of humanity.

the longest and most significant lockdown in Kashmir occurred in 2019 following the Indian government's decision to abrogate Article 370 of the Indian Constitution, which granted special autonomy to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. Here's a summary of that situation:
On August 5, 2019, the Indian government, led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), revoked Article 370, which granted special autonomy to the state of Jammu and Kashmir. This move was accompanied by the bifurcation of the state into two Union Territories - Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh.
In anticipation of potential unrest and as a security measure, the Indian government deployed tens of thousands of additional troops to the region, restricted movement, and imposed a communication blackout.
The lockdown included the suspension of mobile and internet services, a curfew, and restrictions on the movement of people. Local political leaders were detained, and there was a significant military and paramilitary presence on the ground.
The communication blockade severely affected the daily lives of people in the region, as they were cut off from the rest of the world and unable to communicate with their loved ones or access essential services.
The lockdown lasted for several months, with some restrictions gradually being lifted over time. However, internet access was only partially restored in January 2020, and the region continued to experience a heavy security presence.

It's a shame that we even have to waste a single second behind this terrorist state, a basket case which has bankrupted itself with obsession out of India. Ignore them that'll be my advice and request to my Indian representatives.
At such platforms, being silent means you're afraid to face anyone. That's absolutely not the case. So, just enjoy such RIGHT TO REPLY from Bharat. The trash talks don't matter as Bharat has successfully convinced many nations that Kashmir is an Integral part of Bharat.

Congratulations to the Indian delegation for speaking out against the continuing Christianophobia and the indiscriminate persecution of all non muslim people in Pakistan, howmany few maybe left there refusing to abandon their homes after several decades of systematic religious and ethnic cleansing and persecution. One of my best friends is a Pakistani Christian that sought asylum and refuge in a foreign country.
According to United Nation Humanrights violation of minorities.and women as at its worst since Modi become.the PM of India,Systematic humanrigjts violation of minorities is.a.on.going policy initiative.of the current BJP govt.
@@maroufkhan2282 Dont even compare India and Pakistan. India is a diverse country. There are 200 milion muslims living there to this day. Pakistan has ethnically and religiously cleansed everyone, less than 3% of its population is non muslim and it is still stoning them to death and burning their churches. And as for women's rights in Pakistan, there are none to speak of, dont even go there. Pakistan is not even a Democracy, it s a dictatorship that runs some election every now and again and no elected official has ever managed to complete a term without the military taking over and the last PM of Pakistan was dragged out by paramilitaries. If you want to compare Pakistan with some other country compare it with Afghanistan they have much in common.

For our neighbour -
Every year the highlights of their speech are mostly about things happening outside their country 😪.
Talk about what you bring to the table for the world, your development goals, what you have achieved etc.
People may get to know something about your country because most of the time you associate yourself with India and its matters (else US/Afg or China or West Asia) otherwise I don't think they could even locate your country on the world map.
Lastly, do spend some time reading the latest World Bank report on your country 😊.
