Notice when Steiner is running a straight she not only brings her arms into alignment closer to her body with deliberate (up and down movement to her eyeline, changing from slightly lower and flaring outward movement from her body on the turns, this is to keep her upper body tight in the curve, shift the center of gravity even tighter on say a 200 etc. But most importantly she places her thumbs on top of her closed fist not around her fingers. This allows the tension from her wrists all the way to her upper shoulders to remain more relaxed and fluid and with less tension or exhaustion. Watch and you will see her transitions. Its combination of power and mechanics. I love it.

Way too much hype. Compared to videos of those JAM sprinters, she looks to be running in slow-mo. She needs to improve her upper-body form; loosen up and relax. Her times this video is claiming , are questionable. In direct competition H2H, 19 y/o Favour Ofili of LSU is out front; just saying.
What???? head to head she wasn't even close...Like 5th place, almost 5 yards back. That's a lot of time to make up. She hopefully takes a few months to recover. No races. Maybe some bike riding or other low impact workouts. If she goes like that every year she won’t have a career for more than a few seasons.
She's the best that has ever done it in Ohio. I was coaching when she was at Dublin Coffman and she was just on a completely different level. She was an all-american in soccer too, even playing soccer at UK in her first 2 years I think. Once she focused solely on track she really took off. I think long term she is a 200m-400m athlete, with the likelihood that her best even in the future will be the 400. I think in 2024 they are likely to break the 4x4 WR between mclaughlin, steiner, wilson, diggs, muhammad, etc, they have 6-7 runners who are all sub 50 and multiple under 49. You are looking at a team poised to go sub 3:15.

What????
My thought is, developing the anti doping technologies is needed.
Yes, you are correct. Start in Jamaica, look at the videos on RUclips about the system and the W>A>D>A. You will be shocked to your socks.
Be interesting to see how that awkward ass running style stands up in a full pro season
😂
Got to give you credit, almost 500,000 subscribers for constantly regurgitated content with annoying background music and clickbait titles. I guess the algorithms don’t have a ho hum filter.
Girl got it seriously going on. Insane.
Hope she doesn't just fizzle out like many collegiate athletes do.
She'll definitely be on several podiums next year. Without the burden of enduring a long college season first, I can see Abby competing at or near the level of Shericka Jackson.
Probably not.
Jackson is a powerful woman.
Enough of showing the same races over and over
Amazing athlete and young lady!
Abby has beaten Favor far more times than Favor has beaten her.
She is the Queen of runners Olympic bound.
She will continue to develop and could become the greatest 200m athlete of all time. She reminds me of Usain Bolt.
Woah woah, sherika Jackson??? Abby gonna be great but she isn’t the fastest American yet
Imma big fan of Abby but she’s very far from being the greatest
Can't wait until next year to see her run
Top ranked sprinters according to World Athletics: Fraser-Pryce, Lyles. Top ranked sprinters according to TRP: Steiner, Boling
What???? head to head she wasn't even close...Like 5th place, almost 5 yards back. That's a lot of time to make up. About 5 to eight years of time if she stays consistent, healthy, and don't peak early. As for Boling. Way too much extra motion (inefficient), terrible mechanics, and no stamina. Lots of natural talent/potential, but need so much more work on the mechanics. You folk gotta stop the nonsense. These folks are not even close to Fraser-Pryce (a living Legend), Lyle levels.
@@snappr2523 Her time in the 200 was way off her 21.77.
Maybe a matchmaker will hook her up with Matthew Boling....the offspring will smash all 100-200-300-400 meter records!
Wow! What an amazing athlete!!
*** Suggestion Box ***
Breakdown Abby Steiner's running form.
And....she has upside yet. Great technique AND superb conditioning. She has heart and lungs like nobody else. Breakin down walls.
Yep she didn’t just make a statement she did it BIG. Best is yet to come if she so chooses.
You go girl 👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
To watch this woman run is very uplifting and beautiful and brings me incredible joy. Thank you young lady.
How very true. Watching her come from far behind to win is a moving experience that is hard to compare to anything else. I pray for her health and a long and glorious career. She brings tears of joy and gratitude to my face. She appears to be a gift from god.
i understand that abby steiner gets you easy clicks, but the main focus of this video happened almost a year ago. no one would complain if you posted more recent/relevant content
Yeah he's still propping up her college career.
It's okay though. She's a graceful gal a d the praise is deserved.
"AMAZING.... AMAZING Abby Steiner at 100,4x100, 200 (300😍) and 400 mts... 💃🇺🇸💪🔥✋
Bronze is next Olympics
Abby is a breath of fresh air 👍
Just keep the biological men out of women's track and her future is bright.
She's amazing 😊👍
The video was brilliant.👍🏻
Common soccer girl thought: "I wonder if I can run track?".
Yes, you can.
Quite well.
GO ABBY!
Feels like I'm always in de javu when watching your videos, and I don't like it.
Love to see her do a sub 20 200m... Someday
Look at her hip flexors unreal for a female athlete that equals speed....
BINGO!,plus her leg speed is increased.Genetics.
They are already fast, why speed up the videos of running?
She hopefully takes a few months to recover. No races. Maybe some bike riding or other low impact workouts. If she goes like that every year she won’t have a career for more than a few seasons.
Another great white hype until she does on the world stage as in a world championship individual medal
Outstanding athlete, truly outstanding.
Yes she will win more gold a ND set more records no doubt about it
Steiner and McLaughlin are special. We’re lucky to be witness to the overall scale of how fast these ladies are.
7:02 Math definitely isn't your strong point lol December to June is only 6 months
Not if you are using the Maya
If she improves her arm movements she will be even more incredible. Big fan!
Okay, we know little about the sport, explain to us what you are referring to. Just give us the facts/data to verify what you are talking about.
@@swampdickie She swings her arms sideways instead of front to back. This costs her a little momentum.
She’s given the Physics community hope in traveling faster than the speed of light. We just have to get a ship to do it now.
Thanks for this. Abby Steiner is amazing. A sheer joy to watch.
What’s she going to do when she improves her start!
Being only 22, the futures bright for this 22 year old athlete. Oh, and she’s only 22.
This is the age around where most athletes reach their peak.
Hopefully she hasn't ran her best years.
I 💘 watching her. She reminds me of the road runner. Beep Beep she's gone!!!
I tried to follow her on Insta but she’s too fast
I'm hoping she wins several Olympic golds.
