People need to realize even if it’s a fictional character other people relate to him and it hurts them looking at all the hate oikawa receives and I don’t kin oikawa but it still hurts seeing all the hate people give him and the oikawa plush abuse even the flatty jokes they are getting sick and making people insecure we really need to stop because oikawa is a really nice character, btw the editing is amazing 💖

Having a Genius (natural talent) is more like a curse than something to be happy about. Especially when you mess up at something you know you’re talented in. For Oikawa, he keeps working hard even though he knows hes naturally talented. Mainly because he despises losing. I heavily kin him, I’m a volleyball player, gets considered narcissistic, and overachiever. And it really scars me whenever I lose, or mess things up for my team; whenever that happens I tend to overwork myself way too much. Imagine being naturally talented, but unable to show improvement because you were already better than beginners. You’ve already reached your full potential, just faster than others. And to know that your full potential isnt good enough isnt fair.
oikawa is not a genius, kageyama is. these 2 show the difference between hard work vs natural talent. based on your comment it seems like kageyama is more someone similar.

i relate to oikawa so much, especially in the past few months. its kinda funny because the first and second time i watched haikyu i hated him sm, but now im starting to realize how im so much like him on a personal level. (not in volleyball tho, ive never had natural talent for volleyball i just got better by practice 😔😔)
