hello , your the only other poerson ive seen put bbq/wood ash on the garden , i do this regular at least monthly , at first it was just on the potatoe beds but now i use around any where i dont want slugs too
Great to hear i'm not alone haha! I do see information online from people saying they do it too but I haven't come across videos about it yet. For me, i'm not seeing any negative impact to doing it and there has to be a positive side to it with the nutrients. I don't see slugs in my back garden but do have snails in the front so I don't get that benefit but it definitely makes sense that the texture of the ash would irritate them!
