The fact that foliage is painted instead of having each tree placed individually is most definitely a game changer in terms of map design. It would save a ton of time.
Maan this update is the best Landfall done since the Unit Creator. I can finally build my own castles and do a proper Normandy landing map. Huge kudos to the devs!
4:10 now that would be an amazing detail for a hot gates battle / this update will make scots videos more accurate and fun to watch for the creativity and realism.

I hopped on and made a ww1 trench map for my ww1 faction. When I uploaded it I saw like a dozen more trench maps. This video is probably why. I was confused because before I saw this video I though everyone just happened to also think of making one by coincidence lol. Now I have 3 trench maps all named ww1 western front trenches. Also a tip is to use the round terrain tool to delete the ground and make craters. It looks decently good. If anyone who read this plays one or all 3 of my trench maps tell me what you thought. I was going for historical accuracy and detail. Hopefully it doesn’t melt your computer.
Video is cool and all, but the ottoman soldiers werent wearing any fez in ww1. The last time they wore fez in war was in balkan wars. After that uniforms reformed, fez removed by kabalaks.

weirdly enough this update completely broke my entire game beyond use, im guessing its the mods unfortunately.
