As someone who's played TF2 for about as long as b4nny has, there's something very wholesome about seeing new or young players learning how to play the game. Especially as I remember what its like to play the game for the first time. I always try to help the younger players learn and get better if i can.
I love seeing these players. These kids are the future of tf2 and how the game is gonna stay alive. Love seeing b4nny helping and having fun with these new players!
I love how you can hear the high pitched laughing deaths in the kids mic sometimes. He really is a gibus, playing with his sound on and I’m just glad no one gave him shit because of it. Reminds me when I was a gibus playing TF2 on my laptop.
Archiban learning how to move that gear up reminded me why I love engineer. Smart tactics and good multitasking can make such a huge difference in the match.
It really warms my heart to see new players like this. But it also reminds me of the state of casual servers in EU right now. Literally every 2nd game over the last month has had atleast one hacker. Not kidding, no bullshit. Literally every 2nd game. People are usually quick at kicking them, which I'm greatful for. But sometimes there are so many on the server that it's just not worth it and you just have to leave. And it saddens me because I come to think of new players entering the game for the first time just to get headshot outta nowhere by some random AI spinbot. If this is your first impression as a new player you're probably not gonna continue and it saddens me. Because I really wanna see tf2 grow/maintain but it just doesn't help it with this stuff around. Do you have the same problems in NA, Oceania and Asia too? I hope for god's sake that it's only Europe. EDIT: Hold in mind that it's not actual players who does the hacking. It's bots running through EU servers like a virus.
08:07 I remember how I start playing this game. Now I have 600+ hours or something like that but I still remember how I started. Then I asked "How to throw a sandwich?" everyone just laughed at me and noone helped. I was trying to kill people with Rocket Jumper and everyone just yelled at me. I played spy every game and every player on server was dominating me. It was painful experience. Now more experienced players better accept new players and helping them. I think that game would be better for everyone this way, especially in this time then our game lose active players every day and new players just not interested to go through all this stuff.
I remember someone similar to b4nny teaching me how to play Medic when I was just a kid, too. Things like that are what made me excited to play at all, and now, 8 years later, I still main Medic. It's amazing what a kid can do when an adult is willing to take their time out and just show them *why* something works. Even if it's just 1 match, it can make all the difference for someone.
Thank you so much for giving these kids an enjoyable time. I started playing tf2 In 2013 when I was 9 and I was bullied for having a high pitch voice and just being young in general. I lost all confidence and gained extreme social anxiety. Watching you give these kids enjoyment and confidence in themselves made me very emotional.
this is actually the coolest shit ever you saw a noob kid playing and instead of insulting him and moving on you actually actively taught him things about the game. things he actually retains its fucking sick
I started playing this game when I was young, and I'm still pretty young (15) and it makes me happy to see that people are becoming more accepting of these younger kids in the community.I remember I used to be so scared to talk on the mic,and honestly I think it contributed to some anxiety I have socially today,as stupid as that may sound. It makes me so happy to myself in these kids and seeing the community welcoming them with open arms and having a great time.I love this community and I'm so glad I'm apart of it
All jokes aside I really liked this video, it reminded me that you don't have to be "good" to have fun, sometimes just enjoying the game as it is, creates some of the best memories and sparks that passion that you brought you to the game in the first place.
Remember that one scene from Lil Pyro Guardian where soldier keeps irritating engineer by making him move his buildings non stop? Yeah, this is bunny at 7:08
Honestly that Archiban kid is actually a really fast learner, he can be a pretty good player if he tries to learn. Also one of the few times i see new players using the pick up weapon option, smart move.
I had a round of MvM boot camp with a kid. He was one of two spies on the team when I joined and we lost the wave. I politely recommended that he switch to heavy and use my dispenser, and he did. He was so happy to get lots of kills and win a wave, it warmed my heart. The team didn't end up winning the mission, but it's still one of my favorite MvM experiences.
Just like how one bad experience can throw you off a game for good, one good experience can throw you in a game for life. Hope TF2 can bring these youngens joy that they deserve.
