I love stories about Mimics. There's a deep meaning to them - we're not who we seem on the outside. I have a beginning like this: It's night, and it's raining outside. A phone call. A woman is trying to find a phone on her bedside table. She picks it up. It's the local sheriff, a friend of hers from school. He tells her she needs to go to the morgue and identify the body and... he offers her his condolences on the death of her husband. The woman turns around and sees her husband lying next to her, asleep. That's the beginning.
You have to specify fiction. The stories on this channel are supposedly real encounters. Most listeners had their own experience with the paranormal, and for some it's easy to tell when the story is BS. I wish I could pick out the ones that really sent chills down my spine. They are not the stories you'd normally consider scary.
@@annehaase3380 I appreciate your perspective on what constitutes a 'real' story. You mentioned that stories on this channel are 'supposedly real.' It's an interesting point because it suggests that even the stories presented as real may have some level of authorial embellishment to engage viewers more deeply. About mimics-everyone has their own line where disbelief suspends, and reality begins. It's likely that these lines differ greatly among us. Many of us have experienced something inexplicable and frightening at some point, but imagine the horror of not trusting your own mind. Visualizing terrifying events and people that turn out to be figments of your own madness, unable to distinguish reality from hallucination-now that's a fear not typically considered. But of course, for some, losing one’s mind might not be considered ‘scary’, right?
@BlackScreenHorrors I think it's a fact, that everyone experiencing any level of paranormal activity will have that "doubting the self" moment. And, losing your mind permanently is very scary, yes. Were you making a point aside the initial response? I feel like I'm missing something. How is this related to fiction scenarios vs real events.
You have a great voice, your channel is the only one that helps my insomnia and I love the paranormal stories keep it up good work great job I will continue to be a loyal fan
Thanks for helping me sleep every night 🖤🖤 i appreciate all the work you put into every video. Also thanks for not selling out and using AI voiceovers. And for not having a bunch of ads, the ones you do are so far and few between i dont even mind them knowing theyre supporting the channel.
Cereus and Queen of the Night are beautiful fragrant flowers that bloom only at night. Maybe you can use these names to form a new channel name. Stories are like flowers. I planted the Queen of the Night because it reminds me of my grandmother, but it turned out beneficial. It attracts the tomato worm (a big nightly moth in caterpillar stage) I noticed my tomatoes are left alone. The Queen of Night it's a very strong, quick growing plant, and the worms can't cause it much damage. The smell, as the night sets in... Unbelievable! Soul melting. Very respectful flowers of the night. Just a thought I wanted to share. (Ps: I'm not suggesting you call yourself Queen, haha! It just dawned on me you might go there with it)
This is my first time hearing of this actually, I wonder if it hungers for moonlight? Can't help but relate to that! What is the smell like? I'd be making tea with it (but i am the overly curious type.)
I also see the static mist at night, but for me it’s like bubbling clouds and almost like fan blades spinning out rapidly. I first noticed this when I was 24 at an ex girlfriend’s house at night. To be honest I think I kind of ruined my sight a bit trying to look at it. Anyway, I still see it now and I’ve always wondered what it is. I don’t think the phenomena are spirits, but maybe rather seeing the fabric of space and time?? Who knows. It’s weird though… and I’ve never heard anyone mention it until hearing this story tonight. The person in the story also saying they’ve not heard people mention it. So I’m puzzled.
I am sorry, Mr. M. I am unable to listen to your stories, it's was going fine then it started about every hour it would just start over, I am not sure but I think it is the phone.
Absolutely love the candid critiques of the writing, slipped in throughout the reading.
Very refreshing 😂
The host is a creepy government-styled-and-stained jerk.
