- American Moto2 rider Joe Roberts might look like your stereotypical SoCal surfer but he is anything but. Away from the track, the American is at home on the Atlantic shores of Portugal where he now calls home, splitting his time between the surf and the enduro dirt tracks of the coastline. As soon as he’s in race mode, he’s a different beast. We follow Joe all the way through a GP weekend at the iconic Jerez Circuit for Race 4 of the 2021 MotoGP Season.

If you ever meet him in person he's one of the nicest guys. Whenever I would see him at the tracks here in California he always makes time to talk to everyone. Can't say enough good things about Joe.

Aprilia call him to join MotoGP class but he refused it and still riding in Moto2, will you notice that he so talented.

I have been trying to explain to my friend how and why Joe has the best riding style in his class. He totally understands inertia so naturally and I wasn't surprised to see him surfing either. Watch this space because this guy is gonna seriously shine in Moto GP next year if he goes to Aprillia. Love ya Joe..keep on doing what yer doing son.

I live fairly close to that beach, the Algarve is a beautiful place to live. It is sad that there are no Americans competing at the top levels of motor sport in Europe MotoGP, MXGP or F1.
