This turned out a bit more existential than I was expecting…The little cubey dude looks concerned about the *VIRTUALLY INFINITE POWER* while the pointy prof. looks not only numb to what he has wrought but eager to progress further still, whether or not he should.
I'm loving how your art, in all its mediums, continues to evolve, Louie! Really loving these vaporwave-esque graphics with this funky beat; it reminds me of early DDR games ✌️😁
"Johnson, what is the engineering team doing?" "They appear to be 'schmovin', sir." "Tell them to get back to work!" "I already did sir, but they all just replied 'It's rendering.' And then kept dancing."
If you are using a tool like blender and not simulating the physics yourself, knowing the calculations used in high-end games sometimes to completely disable computers for long times, is being used here to throw boxes around. Though that is the easiest thing you can simulate and gives the user a sense of what they are getting into… for better or worse
You don't know what it truly feels to simulate physics until you try to write a shitty light transport simulation in Python, leave it overnight for a week, and come back to see some unexpected bug or instability had come to unleash the ineffable horrors upon your week's work...
The visuals and music really tap into that 90s early 3D aesthetic that is creepy and nostalgic at the same time. I don't know why. But I can't stop watching it.
I routinely write half working physics simulations as school projects to offset my 6 hour sleep exam grades. The teacher loves it, but as usual in programming, a 5 minute script grows quickly into a 2 hour debugging session...
I've been learning blender recently. you somehow never cease to inspire, I've been hesitant on simulation, but little things like this are awesome! even, and especially, the janky ones
The sheer power required to run these is bonkers. What's your setup? No doubt you've got a few powerful PhysX PPUs running in tandem to almost reach 30fps in a few of those simulations. Simply mesmerizing! 😍
Love this overall :D Around 0:29 I was starting to get some serious 2012 Roblox vibes, mainly because of the music, and I felt like I was diving back into my junior high gaming days. Overall awesome job!
KInda reminds me of Mario Artist. Alot of the songs in that game mix the action you're engaged in with the music. For example, the lyrics of the Animation tool is just the word Animation garbled up and re-arranged.
It's so upbeat and eerie at once, it's the kind of music that absolutely needs me to know what kind of story/game/movie it came from. Awwwwwesome work!!!
Subscribing to this channel feels like I'm on a niche subreddit that covers this specific range of otherwise very broad range of topics and has multiple entries from different artists, each of which has their own take on it and completly different sense of humour, tone and overall what they want to achieve with their work. This should play on loop whenever 3d software is calculating the physics simulation of a scene
yep.
Words of caution on the power of physics simulations can keep us humble 😊

One of the physics stimulation of all time.

That bass line is great, and I love the synth feel; just like all physics simulations should.
as a physics major, thank you for this gem louie ❤
I could totally imagine these two characters in an early CN type of show, like a combo of Chowder and Dexters Lab!
I have no clue what you said but I agree
this really represents how it FEELS to simulate physics
