  • I am happy to have made a purchase from Bushcraft Spain, and I must say that everything I bought is high quality. There's the 3 x 3 meter oilskin tarp, a ground cloth made from oilskin with a wool face, and a ground mat made in the same way. There is one other thing I bought that will make an appearance in future videos. They're a class act manufacturer. Shipping was fast and customer service response was fast. I highly recommend them. A link to their site is below.
    This video showcases a couple of other new items as well, like the spice containers and a new water bottle carrier/holder from Frost River.
    The weather on this day was mild, and I have to say that the beans and rice were certainly much more delicious than they appeared in the video. I filmed a part where I added Carolina Reaper infused oil, but it didn't record for some reason. It certainly made my nose start running as it is HOT.

    Ahhh yes...the Reaper. We naturally ferment and make our own hot sauce Louisiana style, and grew some Reapers for addition to a cayenne base with onion, garlic, seasonings etc. Two in a quart was plenty that's for sure!😂😂

      YES!! I love it. Last year, however, I ate a whole Reaper (because why not) and suffered BADLY for a good 24 hours. 😅 But I still absolutely LOVE chile peppers!

    I have a really good knife. It's a fold out made by Schrade Uncle Henry.
    4" blade. I have had 30 years. Got it at a Gun and knife show in LA. It's still in good shape but it needs sharpening. Any tips on that. I'll sit back now and enjoy the show.

    Italy? This is there?

      @thewildernessphilosopher  2 месяца назад +1

      Yes, I'm originally from North of Chicago and did a lot of outdoor activities all over the states, my favorite being the pristine canoe areas of Northern Minnesota and Canada. When I was 50 I moved to Italy . 👍🏽

      @@thewildernessphilosopher I’d love to hear the backstory to that decision. I’ve been to several parts of that wonderful country, my favorite being the Dolomites. I begged my wife and son to leave me there. Alas…
