Mustang i love you and you love me and you’re gonna be mine in 5 months
Me in 3 months
Me too in 1 month lol
Mine gonna be next week and ive been waiting for like 2 years 😃
@@zandratucay9972 I’m waiting for 5 years :’)
Got me a MIJ Mustang last month in a steal
3:45 Ok, I was NOT expecting THAT to come out of a Mustang lol
The Mustang was by far my favorite and it just solidifies that I want one as soon as they come out with more Candy Apple Red ones.
I’m such fan of Stangs so I’m a bit biased. My favorites were the Mustang and the Tele. All sounded very good though. It’s good that they’re all different. Stangs are very twangy and to me very delicate and crystal like. They go incredibly well with Vox amps and work well with fuzz. Strats can really scream and are thicker, but sometimes I find strats a bit too much if that makes any sense. My main amp atm is a 62 brownface Princeton and I always gravitate towards a Mustang with that amp. Wish I could show you what I mean, when I plug in my strat it just feels a bit too thick, the amp is already very thick and ballsy. With a Mustang it’s just the perfect balance and I get a more glassy crystalline sound(and still thick, especially when you crank it up) best tone I’ve ever experienced. But this is all very subjective of course. Love the Vintera, I have one in sea foam green. But yours has a much more beautiful pau ferro board, that dark strip is like this beautiful smoky trail. Amazing. My main Stang is a 64 Dakota red Mustang that I was incredibly lucky to get just before this virus situation came about. Sorry for the long message, I got excited lol 🎶
Mustangs are massively underrated, Stang for blues is God like. Grab yourselves a bargain before people catch on!
I already have a strat from a starter pack and it's seriously amazing, now I'm trying to decide between a tele or a mustang. they're both pretty great guitars.
Tought choice! I would choose the tele.
@@tomrogerthu so i just bought my tele yesterday and it's so amazing I got a sunburst affinity one and i couldn't stop looking at it. Sounds amazing too
Great😊👍
for recording, stratocaster and a telecaster are essential. Mustang is more of an alternative sound that you get after you have the essentials.
@@Yiperman it has another excellent hidden application, chorus pedals, and 80's pop. No joke. It's unbelievable at some Cars, or Devo, or some Rick Springfield. It really nails that sound too.
See, it's as I said before.et us use the Fender Mustang for rhythm. Then, a strat for harmony. Then, Tele, for Lead play!!!
Great comparison, love that Mustang!! Curious, where did you get that dark green desk lamp?? Thanks again!!
Thanks. Got that lamp at IKEA.
the scale length makes so much difference.. that 1 inch less can be felt with the same gauge strings.. put a little or a lot heavier strings on a mustang for better feel...
That’s true!
Sound too. It gets all punchy and Hedrix like with 11's. Its pretty great then, not that it isn't with other gages, just more so then, imo
tele sounded the best the whole time. That mustang is thin sounding ! cool video!
Thanks. That’s the reason i’we keept that tele and many more😄
that not true on distortion at end way better on mustang we where at the limit of the single coil on the tele
I feel like the mustang sounded best in every setup.
tele for me
Hi. Which model is you Mustang, it is the best for me. Thank you for your
Hi. I belive this was the vintera. Can’t remember the year.
@@tomrogerthu Many thanks
Mustang's single coils sounds like a humbucker, they got more gain
Mustang sounds so brutal. Famtastic!!!
Thanks😊
This should say one thing to everybody, the Mustang belongs in your stable.
Mustang win with distortion was the best beast at the end but in clean love more the tele
Currently own a relatively nice Mustang, but I wanna upgrade. I can't decide if I should get another Mustang or a Tele.
Hard choice! If you don’t have a tele you should pick a tele👍
the mustang killed it, telecaster sound too deep, bleeds out the bass, and the strat honestly looks and sounds like a first act toy. i'm going for that 90's early 2000's springy sound and the mustang is perfect, also thanks for playing rage.
Thanks😄
Which guitar would you recommend for indiepop/indierock songs?
They would all work just fine. I personal think the tele is a guitar that works with everything, so I would go with that.
Mustang
??? why ?? changing mustang strings are a pain
I preferred the Mustang (best attack, clarity, chime) for nearly all the samples, followed by the Tele (warm, bloomy).
The Strat seemed dull and at times muffled in comparison.
Great stuff..!
Thanks!
tell me as a guitar player. which guitar is suitable for punk rock?
fender hss or sss or maybe telecaster ??
Hi. Everyone should work, but the tele got the girth. So I would go with that.
@@tomrogerthu thanks for answering
!
Tom Roger Thu what about Japanese math rock, or just math rock?
@@soultheory8441 Telecaster will get you that classic math rock twinkle sound
Tele
I want to take a fender guitar for punk and all.... which one would you suggest me
Hi. I think they all will do just fine. But I personally think the tele is the most versatile. The tele sounds has the most bite.
@@tomrogerthu thanks for replying......
You can put a humbucker in the neck too, its a nice combination. Tele bridge pickup is awesome for rock and punk.
Fender HSS strat
Or the HS duo sonic
Jazzmaster and a Jaguar b still do both roles
Nice guitars, i'd like to buy a Mustang.. what do you think about blues? Is Mustang good for a vintage, nasal, out-phase sound?
I like blues alot. I belive mustang can do that😊
that strat looks beautiful - i think i'm in love! any idea how i could find one like it?
Hi. This is an older model so if you want the same I would search for a used one.
I love the contrasting colors of sound between all of the greats but as a 1 guitar man now, I opted for the Gibson Les Paul ...... I found that it gave me the most out of what I wanted.
Les Paul’s are great. But I just love the Telecaster myself😊
I love the strat
Does the mustang have a decent sustain? Can you play some Pink Floyd solos on that, in your opinion?
Hi. Yes I would say you can👍
@@tomrogerthu Thanx, i play some really soft bends... so I guess 7.25 is not a problem and the guitar stays in tune, isn't it?
Sorry! I didn’t see this before now. 7.25 is no problem. I love to play 7.25. With a good setup you can bend like crazy😊
@@tomrogerthu Thanx!
It is less than Strat and Tele, but not much less. Like barely so.
Which model is your tele?
97 USA Standard in Inca silver.
What year is your Strat?
2009-2010
@@tomrogerthu Thanks mate
the song sounds so familiar
Won’t Get Fooled Again by the Who, i think. then Bombtrack(?) by Rage Against the Machine
Hold My Hand. H&TB
1:15 1:26
I have to stop watching these vide. I had my heart set on tele with single coil and P90, but hearing that mustang...
Hehe.. totally understand you😅
strat
👍
strats are toys,
@@ctrlaltdel64lmao what a joke
Mustang sounds like a strangled Strat. I sold mine and don't miss it.
It’s not for everything and everyone😊
strats are toys, when you realize that, then you can appreciate a real guitar.
@@ctrlaltdel64 cringe
@@justgoldman1826you will learn when you feel a real guitar.
should you give your mustang to me😇
No can do😊
Tom Roger Thu haha that my dreams, fender mustang
Go for it! Is a cool guitar.
