Most Powerful First God of Norse Mythology. Long before the Sun and Moon took up the task of tracking time, there was no sky above what we call Earth, nor was there life or awareness in the vast emptiness known as Ginnungagap. This space was a mix of being and nothingness, quiet and shapeless, setting the stage for everything that would come after.
On either side of this vast emptiness, there were two very different but equally important places. To Ginnungagap's east was Muspelheim, where fire was everything. It wasn't just a part of the natural world; it was the essence of the place. The fires there were wild and uncontrolled, burning with such passion and force that they seemed to bring the air itself to life, threatening to melt stones and boil the oceans with their fury.
