I wouldn't have (pre)spotted that WG issue at all... I guess it's hard to visualize a new, sweet valve show up assembled... but empty? It's like a magic trick, EZ when you know the answer 🙄

At least we can’t hear the alarm beeping with the fuel pumps 😂😂 but really well done single handedly built the car. Brilliant so far. 450-500 today please

Started watching from the 86 days just because I've got one and didn't really know what to do with it (things have now been done with it). I'd love to do what you've just done but it's all about the pennies.

I could smell coolant whilst watching this! I've heard 044 are loud but jesus they're bad, can they not be isolated at all to try and dampen them down?
They do have rubber between them and the clamps already lol

I had something with my Watergate. But mine was a Ebay waste gate and we were joking that it's so cheap that it wouldn't have a spring. Sure enough, no spring or the orange seal thing.

Will you be making something to isolate the fuel system from the cabin to reduce the noise? Would do my head in that haha
There is going to be a firewall separating the fuel stuff in the back from the cabin but I'm not expecting it to make a huge difference to the noise. Hopefully once I've got my helmet on and am out on track it wont be that bad though
Your going to have to do something about the fuel pumps.
Have you mount the fuel pump directly to the ali board with the ali clamp? I am used rubber mounts everywhere because of this.
The clamps have rubber lining in them but apparently that is not enough

Cost about the same as buying an off the shelf supercharger kit, which is what I was originally considering
When i buy a wastegate first thing i do is the press by hand test, why didn’t you do that haha
Because I've never bought a wastegate before lol in future obviously I'll check

@@ChrisDrift Did the GT86 going to some one who was going to rebuild and drift it or do you not know?
@@philmitchell9413 they parted out all the drift bits and are rebuilding it as a track car I think
@@ChrisDrift Is the 350 going to get that mapping that the GT86 where you could stay on the limiter without losing boost. I loved that sound.

Just tuned in. QQ. Why turbos and not a supercharger?
Cos I looked at the cost of supercharger kits and said fuck that I could make my own twin turbo setup for that price. Plus I wanted a big project to get stuck into and supercharger would be too quick and easy. People install them in like 2 days. This has taken me 5 months lol also more future turning potential with turbos.
