@@FixitFingers 😆😆 Thanks James. I didn't think it would be for everyone, but hopefully it will help some people to understand that these type of repairs are not beyond most people who can spin a screwdriver 😁. Thanks for giving it a watch 😁👍

Tools these days are so much easier to work on than in the olden days.😁 In addition, some of us have classes with Professor Williams👍, which means we can't fail. You are always helpful with a splash of entertainment. All the best to you my friend.

🤣 Professor Williams 🤣 Thats got a nice ring to it, but quite a way from the truth I think 🤣. But every day is a school day and if it helps anybody save a bit of money by doing it themselves then everyone is a winner 😁. Thanks for watching Chris 😁👍

I don’t like throwing anything thing away got to inspect it to see if it’s repairable but sometimes it’s just easier to replace 👍 well done frank

😁 Always worth at least an attempt to repair. That only costs my time. If I can save someone some money then I'm a happy chappy 😁. Thanks for watching Rod 😁👍

Hi Frank, good to see you, well demonstrated on the tare down on this hedge trimmer and checking every contact and mechanical parts and got it down to the contacts in the motor and as you said it will be the brushes, so it is repairable it's down to the price of a new motor to see if it's worth repairing or buying a new hedge trimmer. As always a great video catch you soon Take care

😁 Hi Shaun, its always worth trying to fix stuff rather than just throwing it away. I think a new motor is on order so hopefully a quick follow up video should see if my diagnosis is correct. Thanks for watching mate 😁 👍

Absolutely my kind of video - brilliant video Frank, fascinating and really well filmed so thanks for putting so much effort into it. I much prefer repairing to scrapping good quality gear. Sadly some manufacturers make it difficult to take their tools apart so great to see this one come away so cleanly (apart from the grease!) All the best.

@@benjaqsonworkshop9974 😃 Thanks Ben. Yes this is "refreshingly repairable" 😆. A prime example of the other type is Dyson... its all brittle clips that only work once and you have to know the nack to un clipping them. Thanks for watching Ben 😁 👍
