One thing I love about Zane is that he goes into every fight (even if it's just a commercial for reading) with complete, if sometimes misplaced, enthusiasm. He genuinely is genuinely passionate about ice cream and reading as well as saving people. On the good days he truly loves his job but even on the worst days he remains joyful and optimistic, always looking for the silver linings. He's the kind of character that makes you smile even without humor.
zane ice puns are so silly i love it. that’s one thing that absolutely endears me to his character so much (not the puns specifically, but rather) the way that despite being “the intelligent one” he isnt a flat or stoic character. he has so many genuinely silly and goofy lines and moments that really rounds his character.
