So in season one, Jack kills Skaara when they board Apophis's mothership in an attempt to stop it from reaching earth, however, Bra'tac places him in the sarcophagus to revive him. When SG-1 blows up the motherships, he and Apophis barely manage to escape, and as a result of losing those two warships, they end up being defeated by other Goa'uld. In desperation, Skaara's gua'uld goes to Tolan for protection from the other system lords, and long story short the symbiote is removed and Skaara goes home.

I do not get it, SKAARA is a Goa'uld in season 1 jack neill kills him, then he reappears in season 6 without the symbiote
