My 30's have, hands down, been the best decade of my life. Aging is a privilege that I think many people are scared of and try to avoid. But the reality is that it's inevitable. And as I approach my 40's, it breaks my heart to look back at all of my friends who never made it out of their twenties, or even their teens. I continue to live and age for them as well as myself.
I also just want to say to those who are younger, and who are really going through it right now, that things do get better. Even when things seem impossibly hard, your best days have yet to come.
I’m so grateful my mental illnesses keep me up late enough to watch these episodes early ✨

The last name thing is very close to my heart because growing up in Germany as a brazilian girl I never questioned once that I would keep my last name. And it always bothered me SOOOO much that people would automatically assume I would because hey - that is a very eurocentric and mysoginistic tradition. Doesn‘t mean that you as a female presenting person can‘t take your partners last name, that is completely fine if that is your own decision. But nonetheless the tradition behind it is mysoginistic. And if your man has a problem with you not taking his there has to be some reflecting and unlearning to do. You cannot believe how many comments I got before and after my wedding just because I kept mine. With that being said, my husband happily took my last name 😚✌🏼

I commuted to college and I cared so little about people looking at me, that I used to nap on the couch in the food area or the library because I didn’t want to walk all the way back to my car to nap. Regarding the doing things alone question: something that really helped me get comfortable is going to stores RIGHT when they open -- I typically have the whole place to myself and can take my time perusing. As a woman, it's a lot more peaceful, I don't have to be *quite* as on-edge about my surroundings when it's me and a couple grandma's in the store✨

your Saturn return is when Saturn returns to the sign it was in when you were born, so Drew since you were born in 95 you are going through yours now! It started in March of 2023 and will go thru February of 2026, except for between May 2025 - August 2025 when it goes retrograde :) usually happens between ages 27-30, give or take a year
I just got out of (another) emotionally abusive relationship two days ago, and honestly listening to your opinions and views on life is really keeping me going right now. I’m 22, and the man I was with completely destroyed my self-esteem and forced me to bend all of my morals for him, but hearing how strong and confident both of you are gives me hope that someday I can feel better than I do right now.
