Tom and Jerry (SNES) [THROWBACK THURSDAY

Hello hi! I used to play this game a lot as a kid, but I don't remember it very well, which is par for the course lmao let's get it!

After Sonic there were a lot of weird, animal-themed platformers in this era. At least it's an official license with a connection to the old cartoons.

i didn't think it was that bad overall. no continues is wild, but they're generous with the free lives. i've also been playing a lot of objectively difficult old games lately, so maybe this one just felt refreshing by comparison lol

@@AbortressPSX I can dig it. I had the Gameboy version and that was surprisingly tough, too. Although in hindsight, might've been the tiny screen. Always a factor with Gameboy.

hmm. that hasn't been my experience, luckily. i'm almost 200 TBTs in and the views on this series still fluctuate pretty drastically.

Honestly I prefer the NES version, it's more effective than this one.

they're pretty different games. i played them both as a kid and the one for PC, but the SNES one was the only one i was ever able to finish.

yoooo, i do remember when they talked it messed me up though x.x
I never finished this i wasn't puttin up with the SHENANIGANS 😭 (was pretty bad at platforming, still kinda am 🥲)
