    Gillespie was a musical genius. He's up there with Parker, Davis, Ellington and Coltrane.

    I love the way he describes hearing music, that's the same way I describe music to people and I thought I was insane this whole time. Good to know I'm not alone

      Dizzy was born in 1917. The video here according to the title was shot in 1983. So at the time of making the video dizzy would have been 66 years old(1983 minus 1917 = 66).
