In this final video of the Honda Eu2000i series this is something that can happen if you put the Carb gaskets in the wrong spots. I had just finished rebuilding the honda Eu2000i generator and got it running. I noticed that under load it would struggle a bit. it would generate power then kick out and it seemed to stumble on itself.

Nice fix. My Honda keeps eating up the starter string. Does yours do that?
I also have a generic type inverter generator that fluctuates in speed when I used it. Can't get the Honda guy to fix it, and I don't know of any other places where they can take a look at it. It hasn't killed my battery charges yet, but I don't like it. Do you have any ideas about what could be wrong. It has been like that ever since I bought it.
