thank you! good luck with your application :) it can be a little bit hard to make friends here if i'm being honest, but if you put yourself out there you will surely find your group. since fit is such a niche school, everyone has SOMETHING in common and something as simple as complimenting someone's outfit or visiting your neighbors can form wonderful friendships!
You're from Rochester? Cool, what school did you go to? Our daughter went to SOTA, well is graduating this year. She was accepted at FIT, and major, Parsons and Marist in Florence. We're coming down April 28-30. We've got an official tour at Parsons on Fri, and we're going to spend the day in FIT neighborhood on Sat.

how many classes do you take?
first semester, i took five classes. second semester, i'm taking 6. there's a layout designed for each semester to ensure you graduate on time based on your major and your counselor can help you with that if you come here :)

thank you so much! i would say don't be afraid to experiment - fashion is so subjective and that's the beauty of it. try pairing pieces together that you're not 100% sure of. that's when I make my best outfits. also accessories are so important to elevate your look. i love layering tons of necklaces and wearing cool earrings and rings :)
