Hey man, love the unboxing of the Magnus Pro XL White Version. For the Elgato wave mic arm lp can it mount behind the desk to the middle part of the Tray? I'm afraid it won't fit inside middle part of the Tray except left and right corner.
@@override9917 yes and no. So the very very back where the cable tray is you can’t clamp anything to that. The middle part where the monitors are attached to goes all the way across. I didn’t do it because the elgato mic arm imo is too short when I tried it but it clamped for sure.
@@jurig5579 Nothing shakes it’s very robust and sturdy. Even at the highest height. I don’t go over 100 setting in 6’3 and the max setting is 125 and I’ll never use that. I’ve tried it though and still nothing moves while playing.
Great video! I'm building my PC soon (just waiting on my Hyte Y70 to arrive). Since the case is so big, it won't fit that accessory you bought, which is fine since I want to see the case in its full glory. Do you think the desk would be able to hold it fine and I shouldn't worry about space for the rest of the PC stuff like mouse and keyboard?
@@AJayRisen Hey I appreciate it! Yeah you could make it fit for sure and I also believe that PCs should be on top of the desk especially a case like the Hyte Y70. It’ll fit fine. The desk is also really deep so you can fit your mouse and keyboard easily!
@@718.banana.gt4 it does. I’ve been worried about airflow but haven’t noticed anything. And also I had to remove the dust filter at the bottom because it didn’t clamp all the way with it on.
@@TheOriginalBattler you can! For me my desk are really deep and and it’s not as long as a traditional mic arm. So I get more maneuverability from it being in the front even though it doesn’t look as good.
@@mgaming7 they recommend that you still use your own mouse pad but I’ve been using it and it’s been fine to game casually if you play Valorant or CS I would say that’s when you would use mouse pad. Casually gaming or browsing id say it’s more than enough

How stable is it for you at standing height? If your monitors wobble or shake while using keyboard / mouse?

How smooth is the metal surface without the desk mat? Is it good for mouse usage?
Very smooth. I would not say smooth enough to game without a pad at all though.

What colour magpad did you go with ?
I think it’s called grey ash. The didn’t have a true white mat but it still looks good
I have an uplift desk. I don't like mouse pads. it this surface (their mat) smooth enough to not want/need a mouse pad? or is it too resistant ?
