The smudge tool in procreate just moved colors together, eventually blending the ones you brush over. Yea they could’ve brushed all of them together but then they wouldn’t have gotten that tie dye effect.
There’s a waaay easier way to do it and I’ll be showing how to do it First- get any emoji and add a layer above it Second- magnify the emoji on the second layer and color over the emoji Third- no need for more layers now but your going to now type any words,names or anything up in your mind and then grab the layer and drag under your emoji color layers Fourth- liquify your emoji color layer and twirl it and make sure you have all the twirling options at 20% Fifth- twirl as much as you want until you have what you want 6th this is optional but in liquify you can tap crystals and you can make your colors spiky 7th- delete the EMOJIs NOT THE EMOJI COLOR layer just the layer with the emojis not the colors that just got twisted 8th- tap your emoji color layer and press “clipping mask” 9th- your all done and you can use different typing fonts
Actually I think you need to turn on alpha lock to stop the transparency of the surrounding area effecting it and with the white background making the colors lighter, unless you were trying to make pastel versions of the emoji colors

Thank you! I film with a camera indeed, but I don’t transfer anything to my phone, I just send the files to my editor so the recordings can get edited and then upload everything from my MacBook.
