      Swell choice my friend. Bengals are one of my favorite secondary teams. Joe Burrow is great, but I especially love Joe Mixon and Trey Hendrickson. Mixon is exactly the type of back I was hoping Buffalo would acquire, ...but then Brandon Beane really nailed it with James Cook. And Trey, ...one of the few "pure" defensive ends in the league in their own tier. Sam Hubbard looks like he is following suit, as well. You guys will have a 🔥 team next year, even without Higgins. Go 🦬!!!

    The Josh Allen Experience is a fun one and also an uneasy one for the other teams. They could absolutely lose to Pittsburgh at home…but they could absolutely also beat the Ravens in Baltimore.

    The scariest aspect of the Bills is that even with them at their most disruptive and dominant... we have yet to see them in a game where everything really clicks.
    We have seen them win with Josh Allen putting on his cape. We have seen them win with the running game doing the heavy lifting, and Josh throwing for under 100 yards. We have even seen wins that are directly attributable to their defense.
    But, what if... all that comes together at the same time? I don't want to be the opposing team if/when that happens.

    • @lesliechow7286
      @lesliechow7286 5 месяцев назад

      And the same can be said about almost any other team. The difference is they aren’t consistent. D backs are not threatened by their receiving corps outside of diggs and Kincaid. Allen and his dumb picks aren’t getting any better. You can almost predict his picks anymore. These games have mostly been too close and that’s isn’t going to carry them.

    • @williamf5745
      @williamf5745 5 месяцев назад +5

      @lesliechow7286 First and foremost, my comment was about THE BILLS, not other teams, but reading comprehension aside, I'll play along.
      No, it really doesn't apply to nearly any other team. Does Philly have the same run threat that Cook and company have demonstrated? No. Does any other playoff team have the same number of threats posed by their QB (size, speed, arm strength, tackle breaking, etc)? No. Can the Dolphins win if their QB throws for only 94 yards? Can the Chiefs? Can the Browns? No, but the Bills can, have and dominated their opponent in so doing.
      Can the Steelers win if their QB turns the ball over 4 times? Unlikely. The Bills have, though.
      These are just a few of the many instances of the Bills winning in spite of glaring inconsistency by their best player. And yes, that inconsistency is a genuine issue, which is why my comment was about the prospect of a Bills team that starts firing on all cylinders. That is why my comment applies more to Buffalo than any other team.

    Man... a couple of things.
    - How great have the Tennessee Titans been for the Bills this year? Miami holds on to a 2 score lead with 3 minutes left and the game last night was meaningless for them. They'd be AFCE champs. Then they upset the Jags to clinch the Bills' berth, and they play free and easy.
    - Go back to that OT loss against Philly. The Bills dropped to 6-6 and everyone thought they were toast. Philly improved to 10-1 and were running away with the 1 seed. BOTH TEAMS finish 11-6, with Buffalo on a heater and getting the 2 seed; the Eagles are reeling and dropped to 5 and cap it off with a blowout loss against the Giants. WOW

      @@davidleary4524 Who would you have had him throw the ball into the endzone to? Miami knew what the Bills had to do, because again, McD handcuffed his team by calling that timeout when he did. Also, the hit on that receiver was a penalty. I disagree with the current rules on that, but the way the NFL has called that all year. it is a head to head hit, where the safety came in head first. This is what the safety had to do to make the play, and that is the right football play to make, but the NFL is laughably inconsistent with the rules they try to enforce. I am not upset with Josh at all for trying to make a play with that throw. You play to win. Your job as a professional football player is not to be an insurance actuary looking at odds and such, that is the coach's job. You need your players out there playing tough and confident. While it didn't result in points there, it is the kind of play that ultimately won the game.

      In a close game like that McD should have gone for the easy 3 pts instead of taking a shot into the end zone just before halftime. That was a bonehead mistake by McDermott and it could easily have cost the Bills the game.

    • @comicbookcountdown9252

      McDermott is unquestionably an excellent defensive mind, but he is still making some of the same head coaching mistakes that he has made during his tenure as head coach of the Bills (including last night). Just as fans hold their breath when Allen is having one of "those" games, the same is also true of McDermott when it gets down to crunch time. He deserves credit for guiding the team to another division title, but he has also been deserving of the criticism he has received at times over the past couple of seasons.

    I think an underrated part of this is the defense. Like Rich said, the Bills defense lost their 2 best players early. Von never came back from the ACL and they had a ton of injuries to other guys throughout the year. Sean McDermott took a unit held together by duct tape and a child's hope and has it as a top 3 unit in a lot of categories. He righted a sinking ship mid season and pulled this team kicking and screaming forward. He honestly should be a dark horse coach of the year candidate. I think if Stefanski didn't win 10 games with 5 QBs, McDermott should be next in line to win it for what he's done with the Bills defense this year
