It is a super time for experimenting , layering, trying out. You can walk around experimenting and no one around you is smelling something else than his/her own breath behind the mask .... I have learned a lot in the past 1 1/2 years. Things that I can use when the "age of the mask" finally is over .....
I have been using fragrances for social distancing. I pour YSL Kouros on me every morning and most people stay 10 feet away atleast.
I still wear fragrances, even if it's just for me. I still have family members who compliment me. That being said, a nice scent still cheers me up amidst this craziness in the world today. So thankfully, we have wonderful fragrances for that. 🙂

Ashton... thanks for turning out the vids! Besides coming home from work and seeing my family these videos help me decompress. Since I'm in logistics/inventory control for one of the largest e-commerce companies in the nation and are considered an essential employer we are up and running but we are working under staff. These past two weeks have been a logistical nightmare that I've never seen before. Trust me brotha these vids help. Thanks again for all that you do and as always stay clean my brotha.
That missoni is a banger. It's also an edp, performance and longevity are great. Easily I got 12 solid hrs of use. It garners compliments within the first 2-3 hours.
How close does it smell to BDC? Any similarities at all?
@@elgujakhintibidze3432 Missoni will remind you of Bleu de Channel but they aren't the same. They both have many similarities but do it differently. Kinda like Prada Carbon and Dior Sauvage, they are both similar but different enough that you can tell them apart.
I appreciate your genuine concern for those who have it especially rough. For me personally, as bad as it's been, theres something about spraying my favorite fragrances on my arm and smelling it. Idk it's just something that helps comfort me. To many, it's just as important. Keep putting out content bro!

I work at a grocery store and I have a chance to wear fragrances. Even with social distancing, I've got a few compliments. When I'm off work, I still wear them around the house because it boosts my mood. Your recommendations are always appreciated!

Great video and list as usual Ash...love your cheapies list. I own a few of those...Ideal Cologne, Casual Life, Bottled Tonic. I actually got a tester of Bottled infinite a few months ago, and have a feeling that I will be wearing that one a lot this Spring. Not getting a lot of love, but it smells really great. It’s an EDP concentration, but it’s very laid back. Perfect for Spring, for the office, etc. Thanks Ash! 💪
SOTQ(uarantine) is Guerlain Vetiver. Though I'm thinking of dousing myself in some animalic leather frag for when I go to the market later

Thanks! I've watched so many of your cheap videos, and i've purchased, and learned alot. My fragrance journey has brought me to my current conclusion... I end up selling all the cheap fragrances, and upgrading to high quality croud pleasers, for example PDM Layton and Percival, several Bonds and even Creed Viking. While i am still interested in people pleasing "safe" fragrances, I've come to appreciate quality "Main Stream" rather than super out-there niche. My point is, if you are buying a bunch of blind cheap fragrances to impress people, just invest a a couple higher quality scents, because you will end up disappointed in 2 out of 3 blind buys anyways. Just my opinion! Love your channel, and owe much of my fragrance progress to you..
Dope list as always... quite a few fragrances I haven’t ever looked at or gotten my nose on which is always cool. Love casual life though for sure.
Great video as always! Man I'm so glad that I bought Halloween Man X. Thank you for putting me up to it with your review. Hated the opening (lavandin and cardamom overdose) but once it sets that coffee/cinnamon/tonka-amber really does something amazing for me. Love it.
Missoni is cheap online, but at Dillards its the same price as Bleu Chanel. Great scent it is.

Big fan of boss bottled tonic. You can smell the original but it’s a lot fresher! Defiantly a recommendation if you haven’t tried it

I own Guerlain L'homme Ideal Cologne and I just love that fragrance. The almond note and creamy vibe off my skin is just gorgeous. I had blind bought SF Uomo Casual Life and I wore it a few times but I just didn't care for it at all. I tried liking it by wearing it several times but never got around to liking it. I finally gave it away to my brother and he enjoys it lol. I've also heard great things about Missoni Pour Homme EDP so I need to get my nose on that one.

Hey Ash, I was surprised to see you feature a scent from Oscar. I have not tried the one you talked about, but I did order Pour Lui and Oscar for men. I was soorly disappointed in both. I had the Oscar pour lui back in the day and it was different and appealing. These reformulations are sad!!!
I like Boss Bottled Tonic but do sometimes prefer Boss Bottled Infinite. It has a little different twist on the original DNA that appeals to me.
Definitely not buying frags anymore due to the social climate right now. But definitely here for the entertainment and knowledge. Keep it up and thanks for helping us stay sane out here 💪

Wave smells better than Run Wild to me. I have a that Zegna Uomo too. Such a cheap GEM! I wore it to work today and got 2 compliments lol

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Gentlemab by Oscar De La Renta. Was completely surprised and amazed how great it smelled considering the bottle was kinda cheesy and the price was crazy cheap
Zegna uomo is a great one. Unique enough and gets positive attention but not too loud. I get 10+ hrs. A gem.
Fragrances are the most important thing right now. One of the most common symptoms of cornonavirus is a loss of smell. If you can't smell your fragrance you might be infected, if friends don't compliment you they might be infected.

L'homme ideal cologne is one of my favorite fragrances. I blind bought it a few months ago after you suggested it in another video. Thinking about picking up another bottle before the price goes crazy, but it's always so hard to buy back up bottles of a fragrance you already own...
Same situation with me. But I really dislike the scent. Just not for me haha. Will sell it sooner or later
@@ohheyitsloaf1663 To each their own! I love most of it. The opening has a slight licorice vibe to it that I don't super like, but it goes away in minutes. The rest of the scent is really nice lemon and creaminess from the almond. I like that it's not an average summer scent. I do wish it had slightly better performance, but it's a cologne so what are you gonna do? Maybe hang on to your bottle for a year or so if it still has a significant amount left. It's been discontinued, so it will probably be worth more later down the line.

I own 3 of the mentioned fragrances mentioned and here’s my honest opinions:
Jimmy Choo Man Blue is versatile and def crowd pleasing for the young crowds. For the price, it’s a safe buy and layered with Versace Dylan Blue it’s amazing.
UOMO by Zegna is a very subtle and pleasant frag that I use all the time either as a frag or room freshener lol. I bought it for $6 and for a cheapie I think it’s pretty great.
Hugo Boss Tonic is def a fresh, apple/cinnamon fragrance that projects and lasts long off my skin. I personally think it’s a very well made “mature” type frag that is suited for spring/summer days.

Missoni opens like BDC, but can often dry down to Mont Blanc legend. I was looking to replace my MBL bottle anyway so for the price point its worth the buy.

It was a wrong move for Guerlain to discontinue Ideal Cologne.
It’s absolutely one of my fav spring and summer frag and can get head to head with niche fragrance when it comes to quality.
I mean, it’s very refreshing, unique with that alluring creamy almond note. It’s just uplifting, relaxing and very comforting every time I catch a whiff of it on me and it lasts(projects) for 8 hours on my skin before it sits closer to the skin and that’s on my skin, not spraying on clothes as I’m afraid of it staining my clothes and that goes for all the perfumes in my collection.
I have 8 back up bottles of Ideal Cologne xD
What other fragrance does it compare to?
@@jadizm It is a unique scent. It is very smooth, well-blended, and uplifting. It does not smell like a typical citrus. The almond creates the magic. When I first sprayed it, I thought I was smelling apple (which it does not contain). In terms of quality and effect, but not scent, I think it compares to Dior Eau Sauvage EDT. But it smells nothing like Eau Sauvage. Eau Sauvage is bright, citrusy, bold. Think lemon yellow. Ideal is smooth, mellow, calming - but still uplifting. Think muted gold. Both are extremely well-blended. Both transcend decades, meaning they are timeless scents. Both are signature worthy.
