Karam did a good job for his first final! Shigekix was on a different level of energy this year.
Shigekix is in another grade of Breaking. I know he has some few signatures but I would love to see more of his creative side.
The fact that he’s so young and just won this thing is amazing
I wish a gold medal for Shigekix. I met him on a TV interview of Japan. He is a great dancers with solud foundations and subtlety.
I think this is my favorite battle of the night. They both put on a really good show.

If you look closely, Shigekix has perfect ratio of upper body and lower body balance - in fact his arms (from shoulder to fingertips) are virtually the same length as his legs (hip to ankle). So when he performs any power move the transition of weight is distributed very evenly, and he has a low centre of gravity. Very similar to someone like Lionel Messi in stature - so they both get that extra burst of speed which looks awesome.

In my opinion I think it’s better, the dancers are closer, rather than what it was in pervious competitions where there was too much space, and it wasn’t all being utilized, you know?
@@Credibility44 Unfortunately, if you have them closer... they cannot perform power-move combos as you can see KK fell off the stage and slipped sadly ....
@@OmniscientThe That’s true, but it also has to do with how well the dancer can control their movements. With that being said the sage should be somewhere in between, not too large like BC 2009, or too small.

@@OmniscientThe y'all both have valid points and I agree with both in ways. Melvin's right in the fact that a you have to be able to control your movements. It shows mastery in your craft. Check out some octagon battles, it's all about control. But yeah, they should've had the stage just a bit bigger, just so they had a little more room to play with and some added safety for the dancers. Peace.
Breaking in the Olympics! Finally! I suspect we'll see RB BC1 champs going head-to-head for the gold. Crazy Legs to judge? From the Bronx to Paris...Breaking has come a long way and touched so many countries over time. Paris 2024 should be fun.

Kid Karam did good for his first time. He will learn to control his nerves the next time. He will definitely make it back again especially since he has been rocking with Sunny for years. Also this was just Shigekix 's time this year...been working on his dance.

Thanx God BC one organisators deleted voice of live commentators. Red Bull BC one Amsterdam was the best, because was no commentators and people who have watched - was fully concentrated on battles, not on commentators. Big respect for Ronnie and Crazy Legs, but it's very hard to commentate and to let viewers enjoy clutch moments and beats at the same time. Music is the most important part of show like this

Kid Karam did good sets, but Shigekix was on another level all the time
it's like Karam was doing his best and his best still wasn't enough
plus, Shigekix is always dangerous in the first battle because his sets are repetitive sometimes, so in the first battle he still has everything to throw
I think karam answered awesome and replied very good battle between them karam beat him before in a final shigekix got this one.

At least Red Bull BC One gave it to the proper person ffs. Instead of giving it to slow poke Menno. Menno breaks like he's painting the floor. Doesn't have anything that stands out. No complex moves. No woo factor. No crowd impact. And he won the Red Bull BC One 3 times. Red Bull BC One judges are rigged. Except this year everyone was at home so they couldn't be corrupt again or I'm sure Red Bull would've given it to Menno again smh
Karam did soooo good job. He's a full one, got all it takes to win. It was just Kix's day, that's it. Time for Karam will come for sure.
PS. This year's BC One really sucked.
1. RedChild fucked calling judges out up.
2. Somebody behind switching the cameras fucked up with not showing the judges showcase.
3. Stage was way too small.
4. Videos they put now on YT with the battles are strangely shown. You get confused when the battle actually starts.
5. Only 8 bboys. Hope it's not because of lack of money from the audience, as this is Red Bull, right? They got the moneys.
But still. Kix was all the way on point. Did so good over here. W was well deserved. Another level. Glad to see him having more fun and being more funky :)
8 bboys more likely has to do with covid restrictions. Not every country is allowing people to fly out. And people have to quaratine so that means taking time off from work. Not everyone can quarantine for 2 weeks before an event then 2 weeks when they get home.
