Fun fact: the name "kombucha" is a misnomer and has nothing to do with what that actually means in Japanese: kelp tea (which is a thing). In Japanese, what English-speakers call kombucha is known as "black tea mushroom" or "kocha-kinoko". They're very different drinks!

Get In The Trunk really is incredible. This run-through of Impossible Landscapes is really close to the top of the leadership board of anything I've watched, or listened to. The story, and the random nature of RPGs, makes for such a more interesting plot than you get with the highly structured, repetitive, structure you get with most TV mysteries. Really hope they do a post-campaign session to talk through some of what they missed, or was changed.

My wife makes kombucha. The mother is life ! It’s basically yeast. It absorbs the sugars and grows over time in layers.
It’s actually a really neat process and a lot of health benefits.

If you like kombucha with I would highly recommend drinking a Belgian Sours (Lambic/Geuze). They use some of the same yeast and bacteria and their associated byproducts (acetic and lactic acid for example). We also make great sweet(er) fruit beer based on Lambik. They might be pretty difficult to find though, and pretty expensive. An acquired taste, like kombucha, but they can be fucking incredible. *The mother is called the SCOBY (Symbiotic Colony of Bacteria and Yeast) FYI
