I always remember Robyn's' quote: "Save it for the camera". This was Janelle's meeting to show her house plans to the other women. Robyn/Kody high-jack her meeting for their purposes in front of the camera. Kody continues to disrespect Janelle and throw more road blocks in her way.

Robyn always frames Kody as a victim, which is what his narcissism wants to hear, so she actually makes his condition WORSE by enabling and it is also what gives her some control over him as long as there will be someone else to blane and project on. When it is just her left...uh oh. Also, the whole conversation was just a cover tactic. The whole goal was to further delay Janelle's house plans...goal reached.
One thing that stood out to me was when Kody was talking about seeing his kids at Christmas was that Kody said 'this is MY house' (referring to Robin's). This shows that he sees Robin's house as his home - his only home. Why would you not want to see your family whereever you could see them! He should be excited that his kids are coming to the area for Christmas. He also kept putting Janelle in the middle to communicate with his kids. He can just as easily phone or text any of his kids. No reason to tell Christine to tell his kids anything! So frustrating!
This was also confirmed by Savannah when she said that her dad comes over, but it's not like he lives there, he arrives and acts like a guest. 😢. So he gets there and doesn't just hang out and watch tv and make/have dinner? How hard is that? Sheesh.

My theory as to why TLC is dropping this “separation” between Kody and Janelle bombshell and dragging out the whole storyline to next season is because they know after all the sister wives leave, they no longer have a “Sister Wives” show. I guarantee you everyone who makes money off this show, including the Browns and TLC, is soiling their pants right now because they know it’s all about to come to a screeching halt. So they’re dragging out all these story lines to keep the show going long after they’ve all gone their separate ways in real life/time. I guarantee they use the word “separation” instead of “divorce” to mislead the audience into thinking they may possibly try to work on their marriage and get back together, like this is just a temporary thing. Again, just another tactic to keep viewers clamoring for another season.

Christine says she always like to have things at her house because she never knew who she was when went to the other wives homes. At her house she was queen, which I can totally understand that.
Season 18 just confirmed as well that Robyn also made the turkey, something Meri always did in the past, and that Kody preferred it. Kody also didn't want to meet up with the family at a rented property for Thanksgiving, insisting it was HIS home. It makes me wonder how many other family traditions have been changed or taken over by Robyn over the years.
When they said it had been a couple of months since the four of them were together, I thought to myself "these people are not a family in any sense of the word." Their "situation" is all BS. I like Janelle, but if I was looking to get my home going, I could not wait 2 months to share home plans with everyone else. So I'm not sure Janelle is legit any more either.
It could have been delayed by Kodys covid, also I think he was deliberately slowing the process, ie not paying it off, makes me so mad to see him treat Janelles financial needs like they are a pain and then appear in the tell all in a fancy suit.

Kody has not planned to develop or build Coyote Pass since the episode after the big house was officially off the table. He went to some investors and they told him that he was sitting on a “gold mine”, and they didn’t have to do anything but wait awhile and then sell the property as is.

What pissed me off about this whole thing was him going on about how him and Robyn were on deaths door and how he was trying to protect all of his children etc. However, in the last episode (Gabe's Birthday), he called to ask Gabe how bad his COVID was and how he dealt with it. So he never even cared to check on Janelle or her kids & who took care of Janelle and her kids when they had COVID. I remember that he told the boys that if there mom got COVID he would take care of her. I guess that didn't happen either.

There was a part that kind of got edited where Janelle says something to the effect of, "Well if we get rid of the bnb where are they going to stay? Here with you?" Then it cut to something else. That's why Robyn hit the line she didn't want to cross. If they cancel the house, then ALL of it -- Janelle's kids, Christmas activities outside of Christmas morning, the joking rough housing, and loudness and even Christine's kids end up at Robyn's house. There's no way in hell she can deal with that. Robyn's kids are either autistic or anxious, which means she (they) can't take yelling, loudness, lots of people in their faces, etc... Which is all the brown family is when they all get together. She and her kids, literally cannot fit into such a large group. So Kody is going to get bitched out the moment the cameras turn off, about how Janelle and Christine had no consideration for her family by forcing them to be in the presence of theirs. He was looking for any reason to not spend time with her and devote more of that time to validating Robyn. I honestly believe that after Janelle moved out of the first rental,into the second,into the RV and the small apartment he was done. (Well,he was done before that.) Gabe and Garrison were just easy scapegoats and he knew his sons would not tolerate the mistreatment of their mom and Christine. I mena he even complained when Janelle decided not to allow her dogs to become coyote carbanora on Coyote Pass. She prioritized everyone else over him after becoming the abslute nothing he tried to mold her into.

And her calling Robyn out for her pretending not to know. Too often, in families like this people keep letting it happen and I love seeing Janelle be firm on this. Meri really lost again this episode with her willingness to play lapdog to people who don't want her.

My theory as to why TLC is dropping this “separation” between Kody and Janelle bombshell and dragging out the whole storyline to next season is because they know after all the sister wives leave, they no longer have a “Sister Wives” show. I guarantee you everyone who makes money off this show, including the Browns and TLC, is soiling their pants right now because they know it’s all about to come to a screeching halt. So they’re dragging out all these story lines to keep the show going long after they’ve all gone their separate ways in real life/time. I guarantee they use the word “separation” instead of “divorce” to mislead the audience into thinking they may possibly try to work on their marriage and get back together, like this is just a temporary thing. Again, just another tactic to keep viewers clamoring for another season.
Kody’s comment re: his son’s get to choose who they get to be with but he doesn’t. I just want to say to Kody - “Yeah dumbass that’s right because you’re the parent! And your job is to share your time with ALL of your family.”

You know I think knowing what we all know now, I find season 13 the most enlightening so far. In terms of Christine trying to make her relationship with Robyn, as well as Meri. And the way Robyn dismissed all of it. And when Kody truly started in with his patriarchy bs... or at least where you see his seeds being planted.

Christine says she always like to have things at her house because she never knew who she was when went to the other wives homes. At her house she was queen, which I can totally understand that.
Season 18 just confirmed as well that Robyn also made the turkey, something Meri always did in the past, and that Kody preferred it. Kody also didn't want to meet up with the family at a rented property for Thanksgiving, insisting it was HIS home. It makes me wonder how many other family traditions have been changed or taken over by Robyn over the years.

When they said it had been a couple of months since the four of them were together, I thought to myself "these people are not a family in any sense of the word." Their "situation" is all BS.
I like Janelle, but if I was looking to get my home going, I could not wait 2 months to share home plans with everyone else. So I'm not sure Janelle is legit any more either.
It could have been delayed by Kodys covid, also I think he was deliberately slowing the process, ie not paying it off, makes me so mad to see him treat Janelles financial needs like they are a pain and then appear in the tell all in a fancy suit.

Kody has not planned to develop or build Coyote Pass since the episode after the big house was officially off the table. He went to some investors and they told him that he was sitting on a “gold mine”, and they didn’t have to do anything but wait awhile and then sell the property as is.
so if he gets Christine and Janelle out, pushes Meri out, he and Robbin Robyn get the whole mine to themselves. But Meri is too smart to make it easy for them. LOL

What pissed me off about this whole thing was him going on about how him and Robyn were on deaths door and how he was trying to protect all of his children etc. However, in the last episode (Gabe's Birthday), he called to ask Gabe how bad his COVID was and how he dealt with it. So he never even cared to check on Janelle or her kids & who took care of Janelle and her kids when they had COVID. I remember that he told the boys that if there mom got COVID he would take care of her. I guess that didn't happen either.
That is exactly what drives me crazy. For some reason in his mind his and Robyn's covid was so much worse that Janelle and her boys.
Janelle doesn't owe Kody facilitating his adult children having a relationship with him. If he takes issue with how Janelle communicates his edicts to them, he can pick up the phone and call them himself. He is the absolute worst.

There was a part that kind of got edited where Janelle says something to the effect of, "Well if we get rid of the bnb where are they going to stay? Here with you?" Then it cut to something else. That's why Robyn hit the line she didn't want to cross. If they cancel the house, then ALL of it -- Janelle's kids, Christmas activities outside of Christmas morning, the joking rough housing, and loudness and even Christine's kids end up at Robyn's house. There's no way in hell she can deal with that. Robyn's kids are either autistic or anxious, which means she (they) can't take yelling, loudness, lots of people in their faces, etc... Which is all the brown family is when they all get together. She and her kids, literally cannot fit into such a large group. So Kody is going to get bitched out the moment the cameras turn off, about how Janelle and Christine had no consideration for her family by forcing them to be in the presence of theirs. All that we'll see is him changing his mind and claiming he is graciously (and somehow also begrudgingly🤷🏼♀️) allowing the air bnb to happen.

Gabe and Garrison were just easy scapegoats and he knew his sons would not tolerate the mistreatment of their mom and Christine. I mena he even complained when Janelle decided not to allow her dogs to become coyote carbanora on Coyote Pass. She prioritized everyone else over him after becoming the abslute nothing he tried to mold her into.
