C5 occurs three times on the harmonica. 4 and 5 blow differ by 10 cent. 5 blow and 4 draw with sliders in differ by 20 cent! That is disappointing. What are your experiences? The Hohner 270 has deviations of only 1 cent. I'll probably keep the Forerunner anyway, because I can practice better as a beginner, because the tones are much more responsive.
If you play them both at the same time you get a tremolo, which could be considered a feature rather than a bug. Tongue-blocked octaves will also give you a tremolo.
Are there any chromatics that don’t have the tonic note repeat in holes 4 and 5 ? I think it’s also on holes 8 and 9. Is there a harmonica where this does not occur? If so, that’s the one I want to try.
They're possible in lots of ways. Some exist called "augmented tuning", each of the four modes runs up by major thirds, so three holes per octave yet it still covers all semitones.

If played properly, it can create much accurate sound. Depends and varies from person to person how the instrument is played...
