A brand new, laser scanned circuit and something a little on the different side, WWTR, or Gateway as it is known in US motorsports is a 1.6 mile American road course built within the infield of the oval layout based just east of St. Louis, Missouri, in the United States, close to the Gateway Arch.

Will the infield karting track also be modeled and available?

That certainly looks like it would be my favorite part of the venue.
I did the kart track and that would be problematic for cars to do. Karts are difficult enough to pass in even. That would be a shit show tbh

rFactor 2 is one of my fav sims, I like others for different reasons but get the most grins and joy out of this. I've been driving the release candidate and gotta say you're doing a Gr8 job Studio 397. Cheers ;)
is it me or is the new good year tires very easy annoyed? as in if u have around 5% or more difference in tire wear the handling is very annoyed and easy spins
@@bobbaganush17 I don't have the hud enabled so not sure of the reasons, but yes I have noticed I feel something different, less stable, and have spun out a few times, which I never did before, but I have to add, I have more problems and spin out a lot more in Ams 2. Though I have spent more hours in Ams2 they have not been happier hours and rFactor 2 playing time is catching up fast! ;) Cheers.

Being from STL and have done many track days here, I hope they will be adding additional road course layouts. They recently, updated the road course layout which uses turns 1+2 of the oval and 3+4.
Me too. IIRC that extra set of hairpins was added for Formula Drift, personally I like it just for hot lapping. It feels like an Autocross course.
Looks great and you guys are on an absolute roll. The updates you have made RF2 go from the bottom of my playlist to my absolute favorite!! I will def try this track out when released.
Great looking modelling of the track have to say. Not a track I was expecting, but nor was Portland and that turned out to be one of my rfactor2 favourites.
Would be fun to have so NASCAR content in rFactor 2.
Gateway is a great track, but if you are going to add this I hope oval fixes are coming or it's kinda pointless.

Literally use the Indy car in rf2. No point getting the official game.

I'm guessing ist will cost 6-8 dollars. And in the pack, you will safe a couple of dollars.

@@schigeraXD nope. I prefer touring car races, that allow contact - with more than two turns.
I would love more btcc cars and tracks for example. Or old dtm / itc cars.

@@dylanhorton8 Fernando Alonso has said himself that F1 is boring. You know your series sucks when a two time champ even thinks its boring. Anybody who thinks oval racing is boring and "takes no skill" has never watched a single oval race in their life. The Indy 500 is among the best races in the world. I'll take IndyCar over formula yawn any day. And for the record, I don't watch NASCAR.

Nice... another oval track to show how much the AI and the yellow flag/safety car logic still is broken 😅😅😅 ... and is the IndyCar game already being ripped into RF2 DLC's like happened to the "supposed BTCC game" too? will it have the same fate? I will look forward to the next chapters....

Driving on grass to cool down tyre temps? Uh wait wrong sim...
I tried iRacing and wasn't impressed. Not bad, but it feels outdated from a graphics perspective and the driving is not better than rF or AC. But it achieves a remarkable Immersion, I would play it more for that if it wouldn't ride the gravy train.
ah yes iRacing, the game with 1999 force feedback and graphics that would fit in in a Simpsons episode

OMG how this game is outdated like 10yrs GFX wise ... still amazed how Gjon and Joseph could have sold the product to such bunch of unexperienced (programming wise) content makers ... this is not the way to go
