I was a software developer/team-leader for a major software company. I initially worked in a remote office, but as cable WIFI became a reality, I began working from home. After a couple of years of that, I started working from my cabin in the Rockys. It was not a big stretch to start working from an RV which I did for my last two years of my pre-retirement years.
Really good stuff!!! We also get asked about how to work on the road all the time, and I never really have a lot of advice. I'll definitely be sending them to this video going forward. 👍🏽👊🏼😊

As a truck driver and a 100% full time nomad I am doing step one just like you said at the moment a lot of people don't think their career could be merged into full time R view life but even a truck drivers and there are things on the road I can do for my company not delivering freight that could be done over cell phones and into the future and that's exactly what I'm trying to do within the next 12 months thank you for your video

I SO wish I could do my current job from the road. I mean it is possible. I already telework one day a week. I work for a local county government agency. Pretty sure they’d never go for it. I have 8.5 years til retirement. I’m trying to think of other ways to make it work!
Hey Chucky! Cherí uses iMovie and I use Camtasia. But we have Adobe Premier Pro which has quite a learning curve on it. We would recommend starting with iMovie. We love Destin and can’t wait to get back there!

This is why I like real channels like yours not the fake vinelife channels because I agree with you 1% I left them a message they work hard to pay bills and they never retired today like their parents before them I plan to retire earlier which is why I'm doing it just like you my friend simple living is the way to go simple living collapse happens with most safer than the person who stable in a house or an apartment
We ordered a Vanleigh Beacon I was a General Manager for Automotive Group. Need to think out of the box would like to make income on the road. My wife and and I. Very good at customer retention and CSI. Would love to help rv people get their best deal on there unit.
Wished we could do this. My husband is an electrical maintenance mechanic at a major distillery and I'm a boutique owner. I dont think either of those jobs could be online.
Labor jobs can’t be done online and I honestly love working as a maintenance staff or things like that. I’ve tried to find jobs online but I don’t want to be a tech support person.
As a disabled veteran I am considered unemployable. So that means I cannot work if it is reported to the IRS. Any idea of jobs that I can do in our rv?
Well for me that's easy to answer I'm a city dweller so I have two jobs which I love very much so I'm not quitting my job like a lot of people say they do that's what I do

Lots of good ideas. The temp jobs are appealing because of the short term obligations. Wireless internet access has sure opened up extended RV travel to many more people. The RV industry should be thanking Al Gore for inventing the internet!
Living in a van is not necessarily my style but I do have a home in Yuma and my full-time home in Lincoln Montana I get to enjoy both worlds and because I am an adjuster I work at either location I do appreciate your lifestyle keep up the good work
A lot of us can work remotely from home and several do like my son in a different city. I've done it several times but it not all it's cracked up to be. Even though I work independently, I like being surrounded by other people and being able to walk over to someone's cube and talk to them in person. Yea we all use Skype to connect to others and even our vendors. We're a dog friendly company and office employees are free to bring well behaved dogs in, so why wouldn't you want to come to work? It might work for you but I like a firm and regular schedule. Good luck!
WOW! Another awesome video. Love you guys! Such wonderful tips on how to make money. There are so many options available these days thanks to the internet. These are all really great ideas. Thanks for sharing your real world knowledge. Very inspiring! When we decided to go into the RV lifestyle, we knew that we would still have to live locally and work at our jobs. Since downsizing and selling the sticks and bricks, we are now living a much more frugal life because we don't have all this "house overhead" keeping us in debt. So even though we still have to work, we can now take much more time off to go on many, many, Glamping trips throughout the year. In about 10 years, we plan to semi-retire and get out on the open road on a full-time basis. Peace, Love, & Happy Holidays! 👍❤️🎅🎄🌈🌈

I am currently a mobile dog groomer. I know that many RVer's have pets. Would it be possible to groom dogs at RV parks? Would the RV parks allow a dog groomer to do business in their park? How can I advertise to the RV park residents that I am available to groom their dog?

I am wondering more about when this is not an option. Do you use Verizon, AT&T, or something else. Thanks for any info you can provide.

I have been thinking about exactly what this video is about. I currently do the craft shows, and also the flipping (buy low and sell high) with both of these I do sell online. We are currently planning on my husband "retiring" in about 5 years. So I have been thinking, "how can I do what I do while being on the road and rving? " so I can still keeping making money while on the road. My question I have been having is.... How can I have all these hard goods, both crafts and flipped hard good, my items I sell on eBay and Etsy while traveling in an rv? Not much storage..... Any ideas on this seems how this was one of your suggestions?
Thanks for watching and your question! Yes, you are definitely limited on space. So what you sell would have to be small or take up a little space. Or you will have to keep your inventory fairly limited at one time. Of course The bigger the RV that you buy, The more space you would have for that inventory. You may want to look at a toy hauler, which is what we are looking at to use as an office. Good luck and keep us up-to-date on your plans!

Yea we all use Skype to connect to others and even our vendors. We're a dog friendly company and office employees are free to bring well behaved dogs in, so why wouldn't you want to come to work? It might work for you but I like a firm and regular schedule. Good luck!

When we decided to go into the RV lifestyle, we knew that we would still have to live locally and work at our jobs. Since downsizing and selling the sticks and bricks, we are now living a much more frugal life because we don't have all this "house overhead" keeping us in debt. So even though we still have to work, we can now take much more time off to go on many, many, Glamping trips throughout the year. In about 10 years, we plan to semi-retire and get out on the open road on a full-time basis.

I am currently a mobile dog groomer. I know that many RVer's have pets. Would it be possible to groom dogs at RV parks? Would the RV parks allow a dog groomer to do business in their park? How can I advertise to the RV park residents that I am available to groom their dog?

I have been thinking about exactly what this video is about.
I currently do the craft shows, and also the flipping (buy low and sell high) with both of these I do sell online. We are currently planning on my husband "retiring" in about 5 years. So I have been thinking, "how can I do what I do while being on the road and rving? " so I can still keeping making money while on the road.
My question I have been having is....
How can I have all these hard goods, both crafts and flipped hard good, my items I sell on eBay and Etsy while traveling in an rv? Not much storage.....
Any ideas on this seems how this was one of your suggestions?
Thanks for watching and your question! Yes, you are definitely limited on space. So what you sell would have to be small or take up a little space. Or you will have to keep your inventory fairly limited at one time. Of course The bigger the RV that you buy, The more space you would have for that inventory. You may want to look at a toy hauler, which is what we are looking at to use as an office. Good luck and keep us up-to-date on your plans!
