Do you mind sharing which nib you have on your Vac 700R with Bilberry please? I’m looking for a new ink for mine and love the look of Bilberry, but am always nervous about using sheening inks with a fine nib! 😊
Coincidentally, I opened my new bottle of Imperial Purple today and was instantly hit with a strong earthy almost musty smell. I was afraid it was mold. I googled it and apparently that smell is a thing with Diamine purple inks. Do you notice this with any of them?

A good quality of Diamine inks is that they work well on many fountain pens, unlike DeAtramentis inks.

It's normal for some diamine inks. I love the smell. Sargasso sea (a blue) has it too.
