It's also a shame that after the first two episodes, the producers didn't do any more episodes featuring villians from the comic books;by the second season, Wonder Woman was seen battling most ordinary villians who never took advantage of her weakness. It also didn't help that by the middle of the second season, the focus shifted from Wonder Woman to Diana Prince;even if they had done this episode, the writers would have had Dr. switch bodies with Diana Prince instead of Wonder Woman.
Since the brain creature has the ability to move and/or control objects telekinetically, it should had used this ability to tie up Wonder Woman with her own golden lasso. Then, as 360whiplash pointed out, the brain creature could had gone after Wonder Woman's body;bound with her own golden lasso, Wonder Woman would had been helpless, since even she cannot break the golden lasso despite her Amazon strength.
I would love to watch my child hero wonder woman with Linda Carter as wonder woman again on my T.V. I'm 56yrs old now, I can't afford watching my favorite hero on my phone it costs to much for me to recharge it with optus... Thank you for ur concern and interest my my comments .....
@Stanlos In the pre-crisis of the comic books, there are many stories in which a villain wields the magic lasso and uses it to capture Wonder Woman. Probably the most memorable example occurs in a story that appeared in an issue of "World's Finest" in which Poison Ivy wields the magic lasso and orders Wonder Woman to punch herself and knock herself unconcious. Wonder Woman tries to resist, but the magic lasso is too powerful and she knocks herslef out with a solid punch to the jaw.
Yeah, the writers of the show during seasons 2 & 3 were a little too kind to WW's character by not placing her in any helpless situations only as Diana Prince. It would have been great to have seen Wonder Woman get defeated and tied up with her own golden lasso by some powerful villian. Or get chloroformed and captured and even have her rendered powerless by having someone strip her of her magic lasso during the last 2 seasons.
In the episode of Gault's brain it would have been made for a more interesting episode if the brain creature were after Wonder Woman's body since it was looking to take over a new body.

@MrDianaprince For some reason, the producers eliminated Wonder Woman's weakness after the first season, when the series moved from ABC to CBS and the focus gradually shifted from Wonder Woman to Diana Prince. I think the producers made a mistake;eliminating Wonder Woman's weakness is like doing a Superman series and eliminating Kryptonite after the first season.
@Stanlos I was not aware of this. I knew that DC Comics had revised the character, but I have not really read comic books in recent years. I did know that in the post-crisis issues, Wonder Woman's weakness of losing her Amazon powers when she is bound by a man has been eliminated because the editors didn't want Wonder Woman becomiong helpless just because her bracelets are chained together.
It would have a been a great storyline if Gault had returned in a later episode during the 3rd season in which he's seeking revenge on Wonder Woman for foiling his attempt at a new body by plotting to take over her body through the use of a body swapping machine his team of doctors create for him. By taking over her body he would be able to combine his telekinetic abilities along with her Amazon powers making him an even powerful being.
When you say that Wonder Woman should had been stripped of her magic lasso during SEASONS 2 & 3, i'm sure you meant her magic belt. I totally agree. On the ABC version of the show, Wonder Woman battled villians who chloroformed or gasses her or stripped her of her magic belt;this made the episodes more exciting. Once the villians started going after Diana Prince instead of Wonder Woman, the show became boring;poeple tuned in the show to see Wonder Woman, not Diana Prince.
When Wonder Woman enters the operating room @1;37, Gault could have used his telekenetic powers to gain control of her body and temporarily immobolize her long enough for one of his doctors to remove her magic belt and then take her prisoner by tying her up with her own golden lasso.
360 Whiplash, he was probably too weak for that part of things. All he could do is move objects towards her. The surgery crew wasn't going to attempt to battle with Wonder Woman, that is why they ran. Lol
The producers could had did an episode featuring Dr. Cyber, a brilliant scientist with a face that is deformed despite several attemts at plastic surgery. Wanting to be beautiful, Dr. Cyber invents a machine that enables whover uses it to switch bodies with someone else. Dr. Cyber lures Wonder Woman into a trap and switches bodies with her, then ties Wonder Woman to a chair and gags her. Wonder Woman, trapped in Dr. Cyber's body, no longer possesses her Amazon powers and is unable to escape.
@Girardifan Yes, in past times others have been able to use it but I am speaking of the current continuity which has evolved the idea that she is its sole mistress to the point with Gail's run where no one else can use it but her (the big clue to Genocide's identity). Of course, they have rebooted again and the current story has some naked guy wearing the lasso . . .
Would Gault really have been glad to have his brain in Wonder Woman's body instead of a man if he's an athlete? In a male athlete's body he would get attracted to a lot of women.

Good job on the redux. If Diana Prince ever has any nightmares at all...this would be one of them:))
they stopped using the belt trick back in the first season,i guess nobody wanted to see her as a victim anymore.

That would have been a great idea for an episode also. Too bad the writers lacked imagination back then.

@Girardifan Nothing can break the lasso, but I think that only she can wield it in the books.

2:22 once W.W. turned around to use her tiara to save him. A dumbell should of been thrown to hit her in the back of her head to knock her out.

Yeah, I meant her magic belt & lasso.
Wonder woman's weakness is her magic belt
Why does she never tell anyone her secret and does her spin?
Wonder Woman vs The brain that wouldn't die!
I have never realized when younger that all she does is running and like a preschooler and looking right and left as if trying to hide her actions
