I'm a lay muslim but I listen to a lot of Shaykh al Albani's tapes on youtube, and maa shaa Allaah I can sense that he's a man of taqwa (and Allaah knows best). He's one of the strictest scholars that I know of, and he didn't even claim that he's a scholar, he said he's only a student of knowledge. May Allaah have mercy on him. I love him for the sake of Allaah ❤.

One of the most important ones is knowing that Fatwa should be made by Mufteen, and Hadeeth should be interpreted by Muhadetheen. Al Albani is an outstanding Muhadeth, but a normal mufti who might get some stuff wrong. If you're looking for a Fatwa, check Outstanding Mufteen like Ibn Baz or Ibn Uthaymeen. There can be scholars who are outstanding at both or more, but Al Albani has a couple Fatwas that lot of notable scholars disagree with.

Quickly presenting a major scholar in an inflammatory way such as a tweet showing emotional disgust at their fatwas is a major major problem. By doing so, Hijab is likely giving many people a negative association with Sheikh Albani’s (ra) name. Salamu alaykum, I hope you see this comment, firstly you're wrong on some issues :
    1) RADA'AH (breastfeeding) according to the fuqaha' is not the action of sucking the breast only, rather it is the milk reaching the stomach, that is why if the woman gave a baby milk through a bottle or even through his nose for five time, she would be his mother, whereas of she gave him the breast as a baby without milk, this doesn't make him her mahram, so we conclude that (tahreem) is related to the milk and not to the breast, and therefore according to the fuqaha (giving milk in a bottle without sucking directly is considered (breastfeeding)
    2) you made it seem like salim was only a teenager who just reached puberty, which is not the case, because he was already married and he was a man with a beard
    3) you said the words of sahla when she said ( how can I breastfeed him when he is a grown man) indicates that she understood that she has to give him her breast directly and this was the reason for her question.. this is not necessarily the case because it is called in Arabic (wasf nisby) meaning it is a description relative to what is known to be the age of breastfeeding which is done while the baby is small, and sahla in this case wasn't questioning how she would give her breast to a grown man, rather she meant he is not in the age of breastfeeding.
    4) don't forget that there is no way sahla breastfed salim directly for the following reason :
Abu hidhayfah (her husband) was super uncomfortable just from the fact that salim might see his wife without a veil and he used to get angry and this was the reason why sahla came to ask the prophet for a solution, so there is no way abu hudhayfa who would not tolerate salim to his sahla unveiled and he would just accept her to give him her breast directly, so it is absolutely out of the equation, keeping in mind that after sahla did what the prophet said , abu hudhayfah became comfortable and happy.. and this would not be the case of his wife's breast was sucked .
    5) don't make it seem like there no (athar) of how sahla breastfed Salim) the jomhoor of scholars didn't just out of the blue said it was done through a cup or something, and you should ask yourself why would the majority say so if there was no evidence for it ..
The answer is there is an evidence and a hadith :
عن محمد بن عبد الله ابن أخي الزهري عن أبيه قال "كانت سهلة تحلب في مسعط أو إناء قدر رضعته فيشربه سالم في كل يوم حتى مضت خمسة أيام فكان بعد ذلك يدخل عليها وهي حاسر رخصة من رسول الله صلى الله عليه
    وسلم لسهلة
"Sahla used to squeeze milk in some cup or a container the amount a single time breastfeeding, so salim used to drink each day until five days passed, and by that he used to enter upon her while she is unveiled as a permission from the prophet peace be upon him"
    (الطبقات الكبرى8/271 الإصابة لابن حجر7/716)
    6) the majority of scholars said this was a special case for salim because he was raised with this woman and was like his mother, and also they were the only people who were affected by the prohibition of adoption therefore the prophet solved their issues as a special case .
The other scholars who say this might not be only for salim they also say, if all the conditions are similars then this fatwa might be applied, but since there is no way that another verse would be revealed and no way adoption is allowed makes this incidence (a specific case) and cannot possibly be repeated or have a similarity in any time or place,
So therefore as the jormhoor of scholars have said, this was a special case for salim only and it was done in a container not directly as the hadith mentioned, and it cannot be repeated to do qiyass on it nowadays and the issue is easily solved, moreover, knowing what I have mentioned, makes talking about this story not beneficial really, because there is no ruling that would be derived from it since it was only an exception to solve Salim's problem with mother., so focus on more important things inshallah.
    Wallahu a'lam.

You are not in the level of having a conversation, a western pro gay defender should be worried about his women becoming prostitutes, and the 50% of kids out of wedlock and the raped women every 40 seconds, and the highest rates of drug use and suicide, as for marriage, islam does not state any specific age, because it changes from person to another and from time to time, therefore a person as allowed to marry when they are physically and mentally ready and when there is no harm in either side (the husband and the wife) and these rulings in particular are based on the well being of the individual and should be followed any time, and thus you can never bring the standards that were fit for a particular time and judge them based on the standard of your time, just knowing that islam doesn't define age of marriage is enough to smash you with your weak minded arguments, because you have no clue of what you talk about, you had to run to something that neither my comments not the video was talking about, this shows if we were talking about rocks, you'd be here like a moron talking about (marriage and jihad and the rest of typical crap that your little mind is filled with) but since you brought child marriage, I as a Muslim can oppose it, from your paradigm you can't, and you have no evidence against it except the harm principle which is a weak argument and someone could easily tell you who the hell are you to define what's harmful and what is not, but as a western gay, you know better than me, so explain to me how could your governments only a few decades back allow girls to marry at the age of 7 and the age of consent in most western countries was between 7 and 12, take the state of Delaware in United States as an example. If you say they were wrong, what's your proof?, your morality is defined by society like the seculars believe, meaning you need to shut up since those societies according to you had the right to determine what's right and what's wrong, and if you attack them you only violate your own standards, so here I had to break it down to you to realize that whatever your moronic mind would tell you to criticize muslims it only shows how contradictory you are, so if you got no objective morality, you can never force your subjective beliefs on others especially since your liberal ideology says they are absolutely right to determine their own morality unless you are such a racist maniac with a nazi type stupidity that you want to mock others and force your lifestyle on them .

On the light side, there was a ridiculous Morccan (non-Islamic) tradition where if an individual was being pursued by angry members of a particular tribe, he needed no more than to burst into one of their homes "another crime" and grab one women's breasts and "feed", yet another crime. Supposedly this would resolve the issue in a win-win situation as the pursued individual would have become a dear family member and a celebration rather than a lynching would be in order, complements of those same pursuing tribal members. Needless to say, this constituted a gross distortion of Islamic tradition.

That story is about an adopted son before it was canceled, later when adoption is canceled, the adopted son is no longer a son, and he can't see his adopted mother and interact with his family as he used to do, so the solution was she breast feed him so he became her son again. This was a specific ruling for a specific case that can't be applied now, because no one in our age can witness before and after the canceling of adoption.

I don't understand the benefit of this entire discussion to be honest. Even if we say al Albaani made a mistake here: so what? Scholars do mistakes - ooh what a surprise! Of course they do. No person is free from them - no scholar is. Is Mohamed Hijab free from them? Of course not. So now? What are we gonna do? Discredit a scholar who has spoken the truth and the sunnah for the vaaast vast majority of time because of a few mistakes he made? We gonna act now like the words of the scholars can be easily discarded, disregarded and questioned as if this was some 50/50 matter?
Scholars make mistakes. So what? Their mistakes aren't the reason we respect them and love them - but the vaaaaast vast vast majority of the time where these major scholars actually spoke the truth.
May Allah have mercy upon our shaykh - Nasir-ad-Deen al Albaani.

May Allah bless you akhi - this is what makes this entire issues mindblowing .. these ppl are desperately creating arguments to simply save face and try to make this a "good vs evil" type of dichotomy
If you check their videos, their entire audience are compliantly re-emphasizing the concept of "scholars aren't infallable"
and the question begs, WHO MADE THAT ARGUMENT !?
it truly appears to be a smokescreen to discredit and make the people lost trust in trustworthy scholars, whether they intend to do so or not.

Muhammad Hijab can't digest it. If it's an authentic Hadith then it's authentic. Maybe he doesn't know that. Let him know.

@@youtubeowl9544 I did, all the fatwas allows is what Muhammad Salalahu alayhi wasalam allowed. It doesn't mean anyone can succkle from a woman. It's more detailed than that... Hijab understanding of it is that anyone can according to his tweets lol.... There's a deeper understanding behind it than just black and white.

jazakallaahu khair brothers, i needed that, we all did, even though i love Muhammad Hijab for the sake of Allaah, he understood wrongly of shaikh alAlbaani and got excited to get one over on the UK super salafis i.e. salafi publications, but he didnt realise he was going to hurt the non 'madhkhalis' as well in the process
it was a great clarification and may Allaah swt raise you both and guide you even more to what is correct and good, including for our brother Muhammad Hijab - aameen

This is so dangerous.. honestly.. this kind of behavior could bring down our ummah more rapidly,we just can not openly said this ulama n tht ulama is doing blunder, its not the right way.we as a layman can not attacking our ulama freely ,even though many benefits could be applied through the informations from muslim's videos but when it become open to everyone, things like this could happen especially regarding fekh. I'm not aiming this comment to someone specificly but to all muslims who indulging in RUclips.. people will take side, some one will get hurt emotionally and hate could be spread and the islamic ummah as a whole will take the heat.

I'm only a few minutes into the video but I've noticed for a LONG time that Mohamed hijab is NOT someone to take knowledge from.
He is full of hate towards SPUBS and this hate is something he cannot hide and it is ruining his character and manners. Also I've noticed he never speaks about tawheed in dawah...he uses philosophical arguments and everything about him just seems off. His followers also express a lot of ignorance in their comments.
Jazakallah khair to Sajid and the other brother for making this video, may Allah reward you both immensely with good in this dunya and the hereafter ameen.

Why not find and study the Hadith that teach us how to treat each other properly instead of trying to understand things of those times
