I feel the need to mention that Doto still had 4 decks left when he won Season 1 (Arkana, Ishizu, Mako, and Odion in alphabetical order), and this time Dieon had 5 decks left (Blue-Eyes, Chaos, Coin Toss, Monarchs, and Warriors in alphabetical order).
So Brain Control is a difficult thing to understand, but it's really simple once you do understand it. So you take a monster, and return it during the end phase. The intial effect of target a face up monster is pretty obvious. But the second effect of return it during the endphase is the more contradictory part. Normally when you book of moon a monster, the game forgets what the monster is. But the return effect on Brain Control doesn't affect the game, it is a condition that affects you as the player. So if that monster remains on the field, it must be returned to the other player. A card like Snatch Steal works differently. It is an equip spell, and no.where on it does it say return the monster the opponents side of the field if snatch steal is removed from the field, but that's exactly what happens. But anyway. When you book of moon a snatch steal monster, the game forgets what the monster is, and so does snatch steal, so the card is no longer affected by snatch steal. In a similar scenario, brain control forgets the monster it took as well when you brain control, but you as the player do not forget. So it's one of those wierd rulings where player vs gamestate actually matters. In most cases it doesn't.
"he doesn't build decks man" that is exactly why it would be a funny series. Instead of a deck with staples flowing out its ass you gonna get something goofy that doesn't work half the time, its gold waiting to happen.
And thus ends the second round of the Shadowlock series. This was a fun series while it lasted. And rhyme finally got a taste of his own medicine when it came to drawing cracked, lmao! Looking forward to see what the next series is gonna be.

Also his deckbuilding skills aren't exactly on point; Dark Magician could've and probably should've just reused the Arkana deck from Season 1.
The chaos deck was missing thunder dragon, magician of faith, and also night assailant, but that would have made the deck a lot stronger. GG guys, the series was an awesome experience to watch

How about using a point system for power cards? Like cards that have ever been banned cost 3 points, limited cost 2 points, and semi limited costing 1 point. Each deck gets 10 points to work with in the crafting phase, that way more powerful decks will have a more limited card pool as opposed to the weaker decks that have less native bans
If you're gonna do the 3 way shadow lock I recommend looking at this they're doing master saga this season because they made a pretty good system for how to do it

yall should do the deck pool and split the decks to build where you and Seereax build your own versions of the decks so that its a 50/50 shot of getting a deck you built
