Taliban the new Ghani, ISIS the new Taliban-Tolo TV Head Makes Case for Engaging New Afghan Regime

  • In an interview that uses both perceptive broad-brush analysis as well as detailed and specific pinpointing to comprehensively create an accurate picture of the state of Afghanistan 12 days after the victory of Taliban, the owner of Tolo Television, Afghanistan’s internationally acclaimed and domestically most popular television channel, has said Thursday evening’s bomb-blasts have created “Afghanistan’s Ground Hog Day”. This is a reference to a famous American movie where the hero keeps re-living the past and nothing changes and improves. Underlining this point, Saad Mohseni said “now Taliban is the new Ghani and ISIS is the new Taliban”. Mr. Mohseni also said the Taliban lacked the capacity to respond adequately to the challenge from ISIS and they urgently need help from the world. Mr. Mohseni added that the world has a window of opportunity, which may not remain open for more than a week, to help the Taliban establish administration, policing and effective governance. Otherwise, he added, “The Taliban could become like the Khmer Rouge”. This is a reference to the brutal Communist Party that captured power in Cambodia in 1975 and reportedly killed millions of people, a story forcefully captured by the Hollywood film ‘The Killing Fields’.

Even in middle east the countries governed by monarchies are more peaceful than elected govt.
Check how peaceful Saudi, Oman & UAE is when compared to the likes of Yeman, Iraq or Lebanon.

Mohseni was born in London, United Kingdom, where his father, Yassin Mohseni, was serving as an Afghan diplomat. Yassin Mohseni served in Kabul, Washington, DC, London, Islamabad, and Tokyo during his 25-year career.
After the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, Yassin Mohseni, then serving in Tokyo, resigned from the diplomatic corps and sought asylum. The family relocated to Australia in 1982.[1] Mohseni has two younger brothers, Zaid and Jahid Mohseni, and younger sister Wajma.
Mohseni began his banking career as an apprentice at an Australian funds management entity, and later became a commodities and derivatives trader in Melbourne, Sydney, and London, culminating in the management of a trading desk of an Australian investment bank.

    3. His loss clear showed when he threatened Pakistan in his last words yet not recalling history. Cause those who betray never see the dawn rather run circle for there own tail.
In my opinion until the Afghans come up with there indigenous Govt structure and idea of inclusiveness for politics, economy and governance a few elite will play them around for there interests and then fly back to there masters with bags of money leaving behind masses to try and jump on to the wings of planes that carries them to death and not prosperity.

How come no one's noticed that this Tolo TV guy lives in Melbourne, Australia. No wonder he's talking about "the Taliban" instead of calling them our government. Sly chap.

He's talking about 'the Taliban' and not 'our government' probably because there's no government there, at present.

That was an exxagerated claim by the US. Most of the soldiers were ghost soldiers, ie; deserters who's salaries were being paid to their bosses. In reality the military was around 40-50k strong. Though no one has verified these claims completely.

It’s toooooo early to understand what is happening. Milk is on the boil, changing every second. Wait for 3 months at least. These both are too vain to think this is the right time to assess the situation. Intelligent fools.

Round Seal it's written Allah Rasool Muhammad. Kabul suicide blast took place in name of Allah Rasool and Muhammad. It's not the terrorist fault it's the fault of literature which makes human a suicidal terrorist.

Just take a look at statistics
Muslims are the least depressed community on the planet today.

@Karen Wilson There is no verse in the Quran which says the Earth is flat and there are a lot of scientific miracles in Quran not like your x rated Bible. Go and read the book x rated Bible written by your christian brother not by any Muslim alhamdulillah this book the Quran is revealed by the Lord of the Universe.
So you will never find in it any error.
Unlike your Bible which has hundreds of different versions.
