Beautiful video. My 3 biggest issues are
There should be more pedestrian bridges since Abuja has very wide roads.
Can't imagine crossing these roads. Particularly children and the physically challenged.
Also, the city should start priotizing the building of intra-city rail systems as population grows, and not wait to be a Lagos.
My third issue is the sandy areas along the roads should be paved. Outside these 3, Abuja is a world class city. 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

Abuja is beautiful at it's own part, at least for an African standard. We expect better in coming years. If anyone thinks otherwise, they should leave the country entirely, we've got too many people already. Good job bro.

Nice video of the Central Business Districts. Very calm for a CBD especially compared to Lagos. 7:28 "there's no light, why is he stopping?" - because there is a stop sign on the road. He is actually doing the right thing. At a stop sign, your car must come to a complete halt before you proceed. Again, nice video.

Abuja isn't empty bro but was planned to be a serene administrative capital city in d early 80s.its a new city and has transformed since its creation in d 80s.if u want a city more congested with infrastructures, then u shud look @ lagos, porthacourt and kano cities in nigeria.this is exactly how Abuja was planned to be.it wasn't planned to be a commercial bub but an administrative city.those that planned this city did a good job.yamosukro in ivory Coast was planned around d same time with Abuja in d 80s,up till now, yamosukro is still a village and empty with no body. D government of ivory coast hv abandoned the city and continue to use Abidjan but in nigeria,Abuja successfully took over from congested lagos as d capital city of nigeria.

@@izevbizuaosaigbovo6341 Bro I'm not talking about population here. Read my comment very well. I said Abuja is lacking a major infrastructures development.
Everytime Abuja is well planned, that's the song we are always be singing. With the oil money Abuja supposed to be the best capital city in Africa and one of the best in the world. Abuja is still lacking behind in terms world class infrastructures and adequate amenities.
Can you compared Abuja with the like of
      Johannesburg
      Cape Town
      Cairo
      Stone Town, Zanzibar
      Marrakesh
      Addis Ababa
      Windhoek
      Narobi
All this cities I mentioned above attract millions of visitors around the world. What does Abuja have to offer visitors as a center of attraction? There's a lot of abandoned project in Abuja. Looks at the railway project and the unity tower for example.
Let's us not deceived our self bro. Our leaders as failed us as a nation. There's no world class infrastructures in Nigeria.
Abuja is currently faced with a number of challenges as a capital city. Abuja is experiencing serious spatial-fragmentation, caused by the inability of authorities to connect its newer districts with the old. The most vexing challenge for Abuja is housing. many residents can’t find affordable housing.
While most of the city’s working class would ordinarily be content living in any of the city’s suburban settlements, where housing is more affordable, the difficult living conditions in some of those areas, coupled with the prohibitive cost and inconveniences of the daily commute, have made this option unattractive.
The absence of a functioning transportation system in Abuja has made intra-city commutes an arduous endeavor; most residents have elected to remain within the city limits, at whatever cost.
Abuja has urban slums with residents that do not all have access to electricity, public water service, thereby facing sanitation and planning crises.

@@profg5tv785 exactly my argument bro.wat do u mean by infrastructural development Cos Abuja has successfully taken over as d political capital of nigeria with Nigerian federal government parastatals ,banks, headquarters of so many companies ,good road networks, an intra city light rail system,a bustling international airport, an underground sewage and electricity cable system, clubs, resorts, beautiful parks, beautiful boulevards and so many more.so I don't nderstand wat u mean by infrastructural development cos Abuja has gone according to its master plan of becoming a non congested federal political capital of Nigeria while lagos remains d seat of Nigerian's economy

Sadly Nigerians from all over the country would rather go to live in other parts of the world , in other peoples countries, rather than in their own country, so business investments are slow!
I remember when I lived abroad and I met Lagosians who relocated to London, yet they had never been to Port Harcourt, or Calabar or Enugu or Makurdi....and when I asked why... they answer..."oh, I don't know anybody there...
      Yet they came to London!!!

Looking at the way people drive in Abuja makes me think that everybody should be made to go for driving lessons again, the Bureau of motor vehicles should be revamped and people should learn how to stay within their lanes and also understand the use of zebra crossing omg. If we must be like other cities abroad, these are necessary behaviors that must be learnt and also traffic light must work at all times.
