How to create parametric arc length in Revit and can you make some examples for parametric curved panels with arc length and radius parameters tq. And I watch all your classes and loved it
Hi BA, thanks for all your enlightning tutorials on revit! You are mij no1 source for solving Revit problems. Working with Revit in a production environment makes clear that it is a great architectural tool but it has too many serious flaws and shortcomings to be seen as a serious production tool. There is no need to deny that or find any other reasons then that these are choices made by Autodesk. Instead I think users and influencers should highlight these issues, compare to other programs and urge Autodesk to come with solutions instead of smart business models to draw more money out of the market for basically the same product. My major issue I run into as a structural engineer is that is is impossible to cut and fit a construction into an architectural model and extract the components that have to be produced. For example: Revit does make very nice steel joints but... in order to manufacture these, I need sheets of all the lose components... how to cut the beam, where to drill the wholes etc... I am still speechless that Revit still did not make any effort to solve this. For wood constructions - same thing! Design a nice roof shape and ask Revit how to shape the walls... then there is complete silence and the best 'workaround' is to utilize a professional program like Sketchup to seamlessly produce a cut list for 10% of the price. A more expensive but very well working solution is Tekla. Can we see a comparison between Tekla and Revit in the future? That would be very interesting!
You should consider doing a video where you revisit BIG diagrams in Revit, but this type you showcase how you can incorporate Enscape into the workflow in order to set up the "clay" models. I've seen a lot of the popular Architecture channels use this approach for Sketchup + VRAY, maybe you can do something similar for Revit?

Why the massing in revit is so limited ??? compared to 3ds max View range is confusing the material library is strange difficult to make texture mapping like blender.
I know the developers and they still have a lot of work to do before it can compete with other packages. It's a strong modelling tool but isn't naturally a BIM platform in its intent. Having said that, no reason it can't be with the right thinkers on it! I think for most the main draw with blender is the cost (free)
Can we syncronize Revit with our own weather station ? We want Revit to read the data from our own weather station which we have established on the top of our project building

Thank you and God Bless 😇
I wish we had a Balkan Architect for other softwares too, like Rhino and so on and so forth 😂

What're u doing after each question? Hiding down? 🤔🤔
Haha, I look down to see the questions that I had in front of me, I guess I should have edited that out :)
Keep up the good work man... 👍
Hey There! Have you every tried Blender? Would you consider it for Architecture work?
