Lyrics [Verse 1] I was peddling sugary drinks to all the little kids for weeks Spending late nights at the factory Making fat stacks for my family But now my wife's been getting shady That trick-ass mark don't call me baby I'll sit by the window sill and if she's got another man Then juice will spill [Hook] Thought I had people I could trust like my boy, Captain Crunch I know he'd never do me like that, but behind my back I found her mouth all cut up, and his hat in the corner Yo, homes you don't know what I'm capable of [Verse 2] Before Kool-Aid picked me up I ran blocks, I sold rocks G's up, hoes down and I'd have all these snitches stomped Then I grew up And got a real job peddling drinks to all these little snobs And if you think that I fell off Then watch your back before you get popped [Breakdown] I'll disconnect the Captain's neck And make him wish that he was dead I'll disconnect the Captain's neck And make him wish that he was dead I'll smash your skull like a crunch-berry punk [Hook] So keep my name out your mouth, son
Yeah, I really don't get why they hate it. I guess it's because they're just silly songs and they're focused on a serious career now. But I mean, this album IS pop-punk and what pop-punk should be. One word to describe the album: fun.
Its pop punk /metal/breakdown hybrid shutup ;) Lol but really this is my favorite album. It's the first one I always think of and go to when I think of them. And whats wrong with writing silly songs, since when is all music serious. Where did they get that idea? Seems like they take themselves a bit too seriously. It wouldn've been great if they evolved and held on to the silly ness
My dad’s best friend (rip Johnny)😢 was at a wonder years concert abt 15 years ago and Johnny started screaming,”PLAY YOUR ABT TO GET FRUIT PUNCHED IN THE FACE!”and they were like,”yeah we haven’t played that song in 15 years but tonight’s the night buddy!”😂(it was sarcasm they didn’t actually play that but they did say that!) 2:30
yes they play Keystone most of the time now since it relates to the other 2 albums. they do play Wont Be Pathetic Forever tracks on occasion (preferably Salinger)
This is punk rock to me. I know people tell me otherwise all the time, but to me punk isn't a sound, it's an attitude and a feeling. This gives me that feeling squared lol
They want their band to be known for their more serious albums, aka The Upsides and Suburbia..., and they seem like they wish they could just take this album back. I'll admit I do like it, but if I didn't know better and someone played this song and then something from The Upsides, I wouldn't believe it was the same band.
@Henrywhut The band hates this album, they think it's an embarrassment to them as musicians. The only songs you'll probably only ever hear them play from this album are Racing Trains or When Keeping it Real Goes Wrong .
well, they no longer have their synth player/sceamer so its not easy for them to play this song (or any with synth) live. I wish they'd play stuff from this album as well though
This is the only album I listen to from them And they hate it? It’s literally perfect White people are soooooo ugh Just put this shit on Apple Music so I can hear it at work Ohh what You guys are suuuuch big artists lol Stop being ducking divas and put this back up on all the DSP THIS ALBUM IS SOMEONES CHILDHOOD
It's diva behavior, but it's also what's wrong with the world now. Like it or not, this album is part of their legacy because it did bring eyeballs to the band before they were able to do The Upsides, etc. That they want to pretend like it never happened or think their fans are stupid enough to think it never happened is telling.

I wish TWY liked this album as much as I do.
Same!
Who is here because its no longer on Spotify?
yeppp
it crushed me when they removed it tbh
I know, I don't fucking get it, it's my favorite album of theirs.
Joel Jung yea
I don’t know why they don’t like this album. This is the wonder years to me.
Please tell me people still remember this
Fuck yeah man I am drunk as fuck listening to this rocking out brings back great memories
@@bigdumbjosh same rn bro this shit slaps
This has been my drunk nostalgic jam for awhile now. This is by far my favorite album of theirs. I wish it was available for streaming
Nice to know I am not the only one
Brings back nostalgia from when I was like 8
Seeing them play the 10th anniversary of TGG tomorrow and mourning this album. So badly wish they would accept we love this era 😂❤️
TWYs path as a band is insane. They went from making a fun easycore parody album to making an insightful album about parenthood and depression
I don't wanna die, I wanna light you through your darker months
I love this album due to the fact it's so innocent and fun
it's also very raw and has incredibly catchy and upbeat melodies
this song always gets me so hyped lmao
sleepwalkingsky ALL RISE AND NO FALL
SAME
Solo & chewey: holding it down gets me so hyped lol
I really wish they didn't hate this album. This song hits me so close to home lyrically I'd kill to hear it played live.
this mix sounded fine to me, why they'd want to remix it and polish it up reeks
What do you mean it hits close to home lyrically? Are you the Kool aid woman?
Still jamming this masterpiece.
Weekly lol
This song is my Roman Empire

What if this whole song is about him spilling some captain crunch in some kool aid
The best song they ever wrote
Saw them play most of this album in 2008. Still one of my crowning achievements in life
this sounds better than the remastered version

Easycore, actually. Pop Punk doesn't have breakdowns and harsh vocals.
Its pop punk /metal/breakdown hybrid shutup ;)

@@HystericalHuntressid call this more melodic hardcore
Even better in 2022. Found this in 2010!
Now this is what I call easycore. I didn't even know their first album was pure easycore. This is awesome stuff.
another crazy scenario by the wonder years..
this whole album is straight fire, just banger after banger
Get stoked on it is off of iTunes :( 2020-pandemic anyone?

Hmm sure do see a lot of self righteous kids that only like the seven inch here. But TBH get stoked on it! Remastered would be incredible
It happened a few years ago and then Soupy must have paid out the ass to get it removed everywhere because it's not streaming anymore lol
Yes. And me too. Fucking spotify wtf

I’ve looked for the song for at least 5years
