Hi B if they pay through QuickBooks it should generate a payment email confirmation. If they pay another way, you just have to manually send it when payment is recorded.
@@bmacias8288 Not with stripe unless it runs through a different app such as HoneyBook. Clockify does have integration, I never used it. I currently use Time in QuickBooks Online.
I have a commission agent that only gets commission against sales. 7% when the deal closes and 3% when payment is received from the customer. how should I record these transactions? Should I record it with the sale invoice if there is any option or through JV by recording commission expense debit and commission liability payable credit and then settle this by payment received by debiting the commission liability and cash credit.
I had difficulty seeing the whole screen. Also, it would be helpful if you showed how to attach the sales receipt to the transaction. I have created a sales receipt and it duplicated the transaction as you noted. But you did not demonstrate how to attach that to the transaction.
Thank you for video . How do you send a customer an automatic a proof of payment when invoice is paid?

@@ClaudiaXperts Thank you so much. I was wondering, is integration with Clockify or Stripe very straightforward for Quickbooks?

You will need to do a Journal entry debit commission expense and credit cash. Or debit commission expense and credit commission payable.
This will not go into the sales receipt. But you can track the commission in the Sales Receipt by using tags
@@ClaudiaXperts Thanks for your reply. By using this way can I check the commission paid to a specific sale agent.
@@Hassanupvs3650 yes, you will run a Profit and Loss by tag group
@@ClaudiaXperts thank you. You are going great. More power to you.
