- Sherdley park is the biggest park ,over 300 acres , in the borough of St Helens in Merseyside. The gardens were opened to the public in 1953 .The walled garden dates from when Sherdley was privately owned and had a hall there the rest of it was added later by the council.
The video is in 3 short sections , a brief Ariel view of the gardens ; photos' of how it used to look and lastly a quick walk around to see the appalling state it is in now.
There are supposedly 3 ghosts in the park and I can only assume that they are scaring away the people from the council Parks and open spaces department because they don't seem at all anxious to make it a pleasant place for the people of the town to come and enjoy....

As always thanks for watching..I only made this video as a grumble to the council for letting it go down the hill..lol there are quite a few birds there as people put food out for them. but there aren't any problems with them...
