Marchbank was interviewed after the game on radio and said it was touched. And the umpire standing 1 metre away called it as touched. Yet everyone sitting at home watching a replay filmed through a potato are adamant it wasn't touched. Makes sense.
Marchbank sounded a little sheepish in his interview. He also said it touched his fingertips which is pretty hard to believe when looking at the vision....🤔

Umpire said IT WAS TOUCHED I JUST WANT TO SEE IF IT WAS TOUCHED BEFORE LINE. no question on his touch call. Marchbank grabbed his right hand, everyone looking at his left, but Caleb was saying it was his right hand which was more of a fluke as he waved it out in hope. Ball passes right hand way inside the line. Theres nothing odd there it clearly deviates on side angle. Melbourne Bitter is a great beer!
If the AFL are going to use technology it’s got to be fair dinkum, the camera angles and vision isn’t up to scratch, if you’re gonna use technology make sure it’s pretty much 100 percent right like cricket and tennis and even soccer

@@adamhazza4090there was no fingers bending back dude .. unfortunately with insufficient evidence it reverts to umpires call .. in my opinion if there's insufficient evidence to show touched then it should be a goal .. having said that Salem who is one of the best kicks at the club and in my top 3 who I would want taking a last shot had a great chance that didn't make it ..we weren't robbed .. Just a bummer.. I will say that I would rather a cracking game that goes down to the wire every time .. Gonna be some serious finals 🤘😈

@@TheMadJ because if it's unable to be clearly called the umpire wouldn't go to the video would they .. so if it's unclear that it's touched by the umpire and the video - then it should be a goal .. and don't tell me the umpire knew otherwise the replay wouldn't have been necessary would it

The umpire called it touched. So the review has to show that it wasn't touched to overturn his decision. Pretty sure the umpire was closer to the incident than you were, so how about you s**t the fuck up and move on with your life.
If both player, Marchbank, and the goal umpire say it was touched then that has to carry more weight than any one else in the absence of clear video evidence.

The blues were cleaner and better on the night but that ball wasn’t touched. First angle showed it hot nothing except maybe the top arm/hand, second angle showed it missed top hand which mean goal
