    I greatly enjoyed and appreciated the notes inegales in the opening section: the late Dr John Byrt, regarded as a world authority on it all, was one of my teachers

    Beautiful playing and interpretation. Why though is everything sounding one step lower (F Minor instead of G minor)- is it the tuning or the recording?

      The sound isn't from the pipes you see. This performance uses a computer with the sample set taken from the 1732 Silberman organ, A1=392Hz. Search the organ of Ebersmünster for details.
