- What an adventure this was! I was absolutely amazed with the size of outback WA I knew it was big but actually seeing it and driving through it was something else!
I'm back in Victoria now and will get back on the hunt for gold and get some more videos out soon..

It's nice the rift being so close to the surface they say that when you can see the gold in the quartz veins that it is a very rich find.

My Gm1000 still OK it still finds the same scrap a 7000 will find as I have been out with others..
Just have to have a good ear and listening skills :) and also bit of luck and the right area :)

I'm also in Victoria (near Ararat) and I'm hoping to get back over to WA as soon as they let us cross the border!
Managed to do a trip last year with a mate but he's a anti vac'ser so I cant see them letting him cross the border so a solo trip is on the cards.
Last trip was north of Laverton but not sure just yet on where to try next. Hopefully a spot were there's patches like yours. It's just nice being out there with or with out finding gold.

i hope you remember where that quartz stringer was i imagine with the spikiness of your nuggets the source is very close .you should have a portable dry blower i imagine theres 100x more in fines you can easily get ,well with some hard work. if its stakeable i would do more testing and it looks like a promising area .
