Very impressive work. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for another great modeling video! At 16:30, the continuities of distance and tangent were out of tolerance and you let it be . Can you extrapolate that more? Thank you. I'm always snaped with not good enough continuity values and couldn't overlook it.

Thanks! With regards to your question, I don't see anything to worry about. The angle deviation is just 0,07 degrees, which is more than enough for manufacturing purposes. The "Tangent tolerance" setting in the "Edge continuity" panel is just for visual purposes, which means that any angle smaller than 0,01 degrees will be marked in white, anything greater than 0,01 mm will be marked in red, and the blue colour shows the area of maximum deviation.
In Alias Automotive, for example, a good continuity is considered anything less than 0,1 degrees. Even professional car designs have up to 0,1 degree of deviation, but finished steel moulds and stamping dies are manually polished and all the deviation is fixed by hand. :)

@@AutomotiveCNC I see. You reminded me of what you had said on the Mcneel forum: '...flawed model is still good enough for manufacturing.'

@@kuoyihsin , it all depends on the size and shape of the model, as well as the material used for the manufacturing. I often deal with CAD models from suppliers of car parts (mainly created in Solidworks) and I can say that almost all of them have quite a lot of flaws. Eventually, these flaws are fixed by hand in the real life. :)

You are welcome! :) It's one of my favourite songs to listen while I work in Rhino.

    See the program plasticity 3d.
rounding works well. But in Rhino the rest is better.

I gave it a try recently, but it was incapable to make some fillets that Rhino can. :)

Sure, I have created a dedicated topic regarding sharing viewport modes with anyone who would like to try them. Simply go to the following address:

Buona la musica, ma il lavoro creato si può fare meglio e in poco tempo facendo altri passaggi.

Esistono diversi modi per ottenere risultati simili, ma questo è abbastanza veloce e affidabile.
