Lol I really feel your rant at the end there. On Reddit the other day there was a guy who wrote a review comparing Layton and Naxos. When I and others commented asking why he was comparing two completely different fragrances, he responded by insisting that they have the same scent profile. That one was so ridiculous I couldn’t help but just laugh
Anyone who says they have the same profile have a nose issue or are just taking out of their a** and don’t really own them. I actually layer the two. The vanilla and lavender are excellent in both. Honey and slight cinnamon with that apple is excellent and love that cardamom that blends well with the spices from Naxos.
Another Valentino that's not talked about much is Valentino Uomo Born In Roma Intense. I like the sweet smell of it, i'm sure i'll enjoy Born in Roma Coral Fantasy as well. May have to check it out. Thanks for the video

ADG Absolu is such an underrated banger - sweet, yet woody and an absolute compliment getter!

YSL L’homme EDP has become my favorite of the L’homme/LNDL lineup. I too was not impressed initially, but once it got its claws in me I was hooked.
Ysl lhomme edp, it is a great fragrance but i cant imagine using it in summer way too sweet.
@@000besko000 Have you tried wearing it on a summer night? I wouldn’t necessarily wear it out in the sun, when it’s hot outside. But when the temp drops after sundown L’homme EDP works great.

The fragrance comparison I get it because I also want to know if it's a unique scent or if it already smells like something on the market, making it redundant to even smell, let alone purchase. Like is it the next Aventus, BR540, Ganymede, Megamare? Since it can be harder for some of us to get our nose on it, that's why we ask this question to reviewers. It's actually very helpful for me, it helps me create an image of what it smells like. No doubt testing is supreme, by all means test as much as you can.

YSL L'homme EDP is my favourite whiskey/cognac fragrance. Not too warm and oh so smooth. It's my baby.

Just got my Triple Traders order in and smelled my FragranceWorld Legion(pdm oajan dupe)and it smells great.Not only smells like Oajan but a soft powdery Tonkacola but not as rich.Smelling it off my wrists from a foot away.

I will never understand how people see ADG absolu as a summery fragrance. To me it’s way too rich for summer. I feel like it’s perfect in cold weather.

The title says night out for summer which means a night out and doesnt technically mean outside during summer... not summer days but summer nights. And as long as people are mindful with amount of sprays most things can be worn whenever. I get your opinion though and I can understand where your coming from.

Scandal is a caramel bomb! I really like the scent however it is a bit too potent for me. I don't go clubbing anymore, and at 46 , I'm more drawn into warm inviting scents for when I go on romantic dates with my GF. I wish there was a milder version of it, I would definitely buy! Great list you've got there, Ash!

1 spray, let it settle, then it's a totally new scent. You must not judge a scent until at least a settling time of 45 to an hour. I wear it in somewhat close corners at work and everyone likes it. Just a little on the back of your neck and you're "lighter version" is right there. Le Parfum version is even stronger because it projects more and lasts 6 hours, stay with the og. cheers.

Eros Flame is wayyy too strong for summer
I wouldn't complain if I smelled it on someone else, but it's too much for me, don't love the scent either.
Most of modern fragrances are uninspired and especially Roja dove fragrances, why try to defend the eau savage/héritage/terre d'hermès/mitsouko remakes? "everything is compared to something already done", yeah because that's the case. There arent an infinite amount of profiles you can make and tons of frgrances are redoing things from the past with another package.

You can def make it work in the summer , just dial it down on the sprays .. I'd honestly wear spicebomb on a summer evening before i wore alot of the other ones he just mentioned .. where I live , in the summer it's too humid and Eros flame , scandal, and cola would be too sweet and cloying but everyone is different.

Tonka and vanilla in summer is DISGUSTING in summer. Even at night. No. Think more florals for summer nights (naturally sweet). Toy boy is a stunning summer night scent. Earthy, floral, musky, attention grabbing and perplexing.

@@Jiggy609 Hardly. Freeze and Amber are exceptional in summer night weather. The warm summer breeze carries the scent and gives it the most amazing power boost. I’ve had plenty of compliments from strangers and friends alike. Especially with freeze. Constant unsolicited compliments flew my way last year, when I was rocking Freeze at the mall after the whole Covid mask requirements lifted.

@@Jiggy609 It’s an incredible all year round scent. Amber is also the same way. I’ve over 100 frags so I rotate quite a bit, but I used Freeze for nearly 2 months of the hottest summer here in AZ. It held its own against Artisan Pure, Greenley and other amazing scents I’ve rotated in my summer line up.
