I was reeeeeally hoping you’d include the movie villains. I’d love if y’all either did a movie or movie villian tier list. Turles was on both Randy and Doug’s top 5! There’s discussion to be had
Where would you all put Dr. Hedo? I know Cell MAX is the big fighting threat, and Hedo's not necessarily evil...but he's definitely capable of being bad. You also have all of his creations that could be looped in (Alphas, Betas, Gammas, Hachimaru, Tentomaru, Artificial Prom Date, and Artificial Dinosaur No.1).
Re: the tier list - not bad for being agreed upon by three people on the spot lol. Really enjoyed the episode! S- Ginyu & co. do not belong here. They're really funny, and "getting" them can be a turning point for a lot of fans who start with Z to realize it's not all serious business, but at the end of the day, they're a fun homage and short-lived gag. Still great (A), but not S. Beerus is S. A- Baby: No GT character belongs above low C, if that. I agree with Doug that these characters only stand out within their context. B - Aside from Rild, I'd put Boo higher and Cold lower. I do think Cold is about on par with Dabura. That said, the most interesting thing about Dabura is what he encourages you to imagine about the Dragon Ball world. Boo to S (I'd probably combine all Boos) and Broly to A! C - I'd put Granolah in A and Gas in B. Although Gas is pretty basic, I think he's underrated, and he has way cooler fights than anyone in C (for what that's worth). Imagine all of Gas' Figuarts accessories! D - Elec to C and manga Jiren to B. Anime Jiren can stay where you have him.
Toyotaro does so much to flesh out Hedo that I'd (this is Ken typing) probably put him in B, but if we're considering the movie by itself, as a villain he doesn't do enough to warrant higher than C. Really hope to see more of him in the future. Imagine what he and Pilaf could get up to together!! - Ken
