Impressive comment. I am 15 years old and could've written the exact same. Some years ago, my brother played "Smile" in his car and ever since then, I'm a huge fan of juice. He also helped me through some stuff and in general, I'm thankful that his music exists. Actually, yes, we boys also are able to have feelings and struggle (emotionally and physically). Thank you for making me feel like there are also others who think the same way. I wish you the best from Germany :)

The thing is no it’s not meant for happy people, you don’t help people by using depression, but you give this to those really going through struggles? It’s the light at the end of the tunnel letting you see that there is a lit road ahead
I think we are just in a generation that is more open and self acknowledging to their own struggles and juice was one of those artist that created music like this to vent, but had a way of helping people relate and make them feel like someone was walking with them in their struggles. It’s not that it’s making them depressed, it’s that they do have some struggles even if minor in the grand scheme of things, and they are seeking this music out to find some inspiration to battle those struggles. His whole message of 999 embodies that. Flipping 666 upside down, turning evil into good. I think it’s a good message for the youth to follow but I do feel you have to be old enough to fully understand his music and get the message.
And his drug problem, he spoke about how it’s was a gift and a curse because it allowed him to feel what other people can’t sober, but it destroyed him he said it many times too, and if anything his death should have been the final nail in the coffin for people still struggling or were in the process of getting help, like people said he was apart of the problem, he wasn’t , he was helping everyone around him and the entire world while he was at it

U should have them react to a lyrics video so they can see what he's saying since they might not catch important lines. Juice WRLD is also a really good lyricist.
Juice WRLD doesn't praise drug use, like a lot of the industry has in the past. He made it his life mission to raise awareness and lead the younger generation to the future. Unfortunately, he was battling his own mental illnesses, as well as addiction, and his life ended well too soon. However he lives on today, in the youth. He moved our generation in a way no other artist has. I think between him, XXXTENTACION, and Lil Peep, they really shaped the genre, while also speaking on topics most people were too afraid to talk about.
no disrespect to the mum, she just don't get it. This mans music has saved my 25 year old self from suicide, dealing with horrible depression from losing my dad at a young age, also a few drug addictions. His music is incredible and the dad can appreciate that I can see. Sure it's depressing sometimes, but depression affects everyone whether you admit it or not. His music really helps a lot of people deal with their's. This music saves lives.

It's actually the failing of the system that makes kids nowadays depressed and get into drugs. There's this huge social pressure that some people fold under.
