    I think we are just in a generation that is more open and self acknowledging to their own struggles and juice was one of those artist that created music like this to vent, but had a way of helping people relate and make them feel like someone was walking with them in their struggles. It’s not that it’s making them depressed, it’s that they do have some struggles even if minor in the grand scheme of things, and they are seeking this music out to find some inspiration to battle those struggles. His whole message of 999 embodies that. Flipping 666 upside down, turning evil into good. I think it’s a good message for the youth to follow but I do feel you have to be old enough to fully understand his music and get the message.

    • @Young_Ronin
      @Young_Ronin Год назад

      And his drug problem, he spoke about how it’s was a gift and a curse because it allowed him to feel what other people can’t sober, but it destroyed him he said it many times too, and if anything his death should have been the final nail in the coffin for people still struggling or were in the process of getting help, like people said he was apart of the problem, he wasn’t , he was helping everyone around him and the entire world while he was at it

    • @nathanfowler2835
      @nathanfowler2835 Год назад +2

      @@Young_Ronin yeah the most shitty part about it is that he was self aware to the point he knew how much he was helping people and knew that the drugs helped him do that. His perspective of “I wonder if that’s why God really sent me” has to be heavy af when you really are getting blown up by millions about how much you are helping them. Too much for 1 person honestly

    I’m 14 and I love Juice wrld’s music. It’s been a few years since I’ve listened to him. I’m glad I found his music(thanks to my brother really) my little sister also likes his music even if she doesn’t understand what they mean. I can understand what he’s saying and you can hear him struggle the more you listen to his music, he sings what he feels. Most Guys don’t show themselves emotionally bc We Girls often put it as a bad thing. I have an older brother and I always want him to express himself even though he doesn’t want to. Juice’s music helps me understand him… I don’t care if people say I shouldn’t be listening to his music at “my young age”… his music actually just helps me more. I was “depressed” at a time but his music made everything better for me even if adults don’t see it. I recommend having them listen to “Wandered to LA” beautiful song, The whole Fighting Demons album was beautiful in my opinion

      Impressive comment. I am 15 years old and could've written the exact same. Some years ago, my brother played "Smile" in his car and ever since then, I'm a huge fan of juice. He also helped me through some stuff and in general, I'm thankful that his music exists. Actually, yes, we boys also are able to have feelings and struggle (emotionally and physically). Thank you for making me feel like there are also others who think the same way.
      I wish you the best from Germany :)

    Juice WRLD doesn't praise drug use, like a lot of the industry has in the past. He made it his life mission to raise awareness and lead the younger generation to the future. Unfortunately, he was battling his own mental illnesses, as well as addiction, and his life ended well too soon. However he lives on today, in the youth. He moved our generation in a way no other artist has. I think between him, XXXTENTACION, and Lil Peep, they really shaped the genre, while also speaking on topics most people were too afraid to talk about.

    It's actually the failing of the system that makes kids nowadays depressed and get into drugs. There's this huge social pressure that some people fold under. And most of the parents generation don't know or recognize this pressure and say that they are weak because "in their times shit was really though". I've been trough it and it was horrible. Juice Wrld's music helped me to cope tho. Nowadays I can't listen to his music too much because it's connected to that period in my life.
